Pokemon Mystery Minis

I know that Nintendo is being stingy about releasing this license to others, including Funko, but I was thinking about what a set of PKMN minis would be like and wanted to share it here. Basically, I think mystery minis would be the best format to release Pokemon figures in (maybe also Dorbz, too?). But anyway, in my opinion, the best way to approach this set is to do a random mix of Pokemon from all 718 instead of just starting from #1, that way, we get a nice variety.

I'd like for it to go something like this, ideally:

* Pikachu
* Bulbasaur
* Cyndaquil
* Piplup
* Leafeon
* Misdreavus
* Mawile
* Lucario
* Audino
* Meowstic
* Pangoro
* Tyrunt
* Mewtwo (rare - 1/24 or 1/36)
* Celebi (super rare - 1//72)
* Darkrai (super rare - 1/72)

This is mostly to give a rough idea of how I think this set should be packaged, and doesn't necessarily reflect on what my personal favorites are.

However, what do you think? Any other ideas or choices?

Realistically, itd include all the starter pokemon from the first game, maybe their final original evolutions as Rares.

Probably some iconic ones such as Pikachu, Mewtwo, Snorlax, Magikarp, Meowth, Ekans, Coffer.

Id like to see Gyrados, Hitmon Lee and Chan, Machamp and probably Gengar.

I was so excited when I saw this topic....I thought they were announced. Will keep my fingers crossed for one day. Would like to see Sylveon too. And a jigglypuff. And an audino....and and and

You almost gave a heart attack. The 20th Anniversary is next year, and Build a Bear's getting a Pika plush, so you never know.

Eevee is a must for me! I also motion for a Snorlax MM or Dorbz.

There's so many to pick from D: Just off the top of my head Absol, Goomy, Meowth, Gengar, Ninetales, Arcanine, Dragonite, Raichu, Flygon, Blaziken, Steelix, Suicune, Giratina, Cubone, Typhlosion, Weavile, Tyrantrum, or Wailord would look amazing as MM. Shiny forms as rares/HT exclusives would be amazing.

I made up lists awhile back. The rarities would be 1/12, 1/24, 1/72, 1/144 and 1/300. Each set would have either 1, 2, 3 or 4 variations between characters. The 1/300 would be a gold Pikachu.

My series 1 would have Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Ralts, Manectric, Arcanine, Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Celebi
Series 2: Victini, Raichu, Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon, Flygon, Lapras, Charizard(2 of these would be 1/144's) and Cresselia
Series 3: Blastoise, Venusaur, Dragonite, Absol, Gardevoir, Ninetales, Blaziken, Virizion, Pikachu and Mew
Series 4: Espeon, Umbreon, Lickitung, Latios, Latias, Snorlax, Zapdos, Typhlosion, Scizor and Rapidash

I think that 1, buying mystery minis is extremely boring when they are 1/12, also Pokemon cards can be worth a lot of money or nothing depending on the rarity. I think it would be cool if they had a Golden ticket type of figure and secret rare Pokemon cards are gold. Plus it's good to have figures in a series that are worth lots of money.

I think they'd probably go the boring route with 12 different characters and 1/12 rarity, but I doubt I buy any if they did that.

If they did the set it would be cool if they did all of the first 150 and gave them all 1/150 rarities. Granted it would make it much harder to complete a set or find the exact one that you want, but it would make pulling doubles much harder.

Basically, if this ever happened, I would DROP DEAD. Pokemon always has and always will be a HUGE part of my life and to overlap with my love for Funko, I would be in a fanboy's Heaven.

Nintendo needs to be more lenient when it comes to these things. That way we could have Zelda, Sheik, and Link pops too! AHHH PLEASE

I was a kid with a Happy Meal dream, I think i got 10. I wonder how people got the whole set, pre-internet days too.
