Mystery Mini Numbers (Located on Bottom of Figures)

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Mystery Mini Numbers (Located on Bottom of Figures)

Good Evening Fellow Fanatics,

I was wondering if anyone knew the significance of the numbers on the bottom of the mystery mini figures. They seem to vary within sets, sometimes with rarity it seems. For example.....commons in GoT series 1 have NV045 and my Jamie Chase (hand cut off) has NV016. Also, my Walking Dead series 2 has NV017 and NV026 both on commons and rares. I don't know if they simply identify "batches" (ie first, second of a series) indicating a time of production or what. What does NV mean? Just curious as I emailed FUNKO directly about their meaning a month ago but haven't gotten a response and was wondering if anyone knew. :-k Anyway if anyone knows anything please share your input.

I think the numbers on the bottom are production numbers. They probably include some kind of code to determine line and production facility and other info, I would imagine. Kind of like the VIN on a car.
