Congrats! We are down to just needing Arwen, Eowyn and Lurtz. I have given up on the HT ones, but I am hoping the Gamestops nearby will get stock sometime (still haven't gotten anything yet) so I have a shot at Arwen.

Thanks! I'm glad I held off on trading for Galadriel. I was trying to trade for her in some facebook groups and some people were just unreasonable with what they wanted in exchange. I get the feeling I'm just going to have to live without Eowyn. No one wants to trade her unless you've got super rare older minis in exchange. Unless my HT gets a restock and I'm lucky enough to get there first, AND for it to be a case with her in it, I'm just SOL I think. I refuse to pay the secondary market price for her unless she comes down by a lot.

GameStop should just be getting the common case, like FYE and Books a Million. I pulled Arwen from the top front left corner yesterday. I've seen others pull the Nazgul, Sauron, and Saruman from the top back left corner. There's also a 1/24 spot in the bottom layer front right corner.

I don't think so. I'm just going by other layouts I've seen online. There could be others out there. Or the case you found could've been mixed.

Seems to be longer for some, especially since they've started so many lines and not as many have had a 2nd or more series.

Yeah, I think Nightmare Before Christmas had a couple of years at least between series 1 and series 2.

I hope its sooner than that. Just like purplesour's awesome collection, I cant wait ( and hope) to see 3 different moria orcs ( armored, orc, and goblin), 3 different uruk hai (berserker, captain and scout) and 3 different ents along with treebeard... then the army building can start!

Perhaps they will even do a fallen boromir, lurtz with bow, and celeborn, and Elrond...

It's called "Multi-level Display Box" on the website. Their pretty nifty, have two myself, though I'm looking at switching to more of a shadow box-type display.

Ours in Minnesota (or at least the Twin Cities metro) all got 1 restock, though at least one of the 3 stores around me seemed to think that was all they'd be getting.

That said, they sold out pretty much the same day they got them each time so possible they'll be able to get more in.

I was at Hot Topic today picking up an order, and saw three of these sitting on a shelf mixed in with a bunch of other minis. So I got two and found one was the Witch-king! The other was just Pippin, and unfortunately the one I got from Barnes and Noble that I thought would be Galadriel was Sam, but I'll still accept my luck!

That's how it usually goes, often they restock with the common set.

HT should have to do more restocks than just 1 or 2 if they're going to make their exclusives be a 1/72. We were looking at needing 3 cases, bare minimum to complete the HT exclusives given the ratios.

Between myself and several others in a local FB group I know that for the 3 stores closet to me they got 7 cases between them (2/1/1 initially and each received 1 restock). In those 7 cases there was 1 Witch-King, 1 Lurtz and 5 Galadriel. Now I believe our 2 HT's in the north metro had a tiny bit better luck but haven't been able to fully confirm.

I ordered it and proceeded to kick myself because I was so sure it'd be another danged Hobbit, and it came to $10 shipped and who wants to spend $10 on another hobbit?

It showed up today, and...it was not a hobbit.

I've honestly had amazing luck with this set. I got the Nazgul from a HT order that I'd placed when they had the non-exclusives online. I lucked into fresh cases at HT and got Lurtz and the Witch King in a single day. I pulled Arwen at FYE and completed the BN exclusives earlier this week when I found two fresh cases there. Normally it takes me several months, hundreds of dollars, and dozens of dupes to complete a set of minis, but this one has honestly been the easiest set I've ever completed that had multiple rares/exclusives in it.

Now comes the hard part. Getting rid of my dupes. Luckily I've already managed to unload most of my commons. I've got 20 duplicates left, but a chunk of them are the 1/24s and 1/36s so I'm hoping I can shift them easily.

Found a fresh batch of three cases at my local B&N the other day, as you can see I took the three FTL boxes and hoped to get Arwen & I did! Went back today and they were still untouched so I decided to use the layout again to get the other figures I needed. With having bad luck at getting a lot of dupes and mixed boxes the last past month it really did pay off in the end. Now to just buy the rest and get that damn Eowyn & Lurtz. Happy hunting guys! This was also my first experience of getting blinded boxes and trying to complete a set (almost there!) But for now I'm gonna stick to Pop's haha. Too stressful for me, but I did gain knowledge about the layouts and the weights of this collection. Now I'll be prepared for the next wave of LOTR. Can't wait to make scenes out of these minis! Favorite figure has to be Arwen hands down! <3
