I picked up a couple cause they were really cheap at BN. Was trying for a chase piece. These are actually pretty nice. Lots better than the WD minis, which are hard as a rock.

Finally got my first chase this weekend, a GITD walker from B&N. There were only 5 boxes left on their display shelf, so I must have really lucked out! I credit my friend who cashed me out - must have been good luck!

My week pulls

I think I officially took all of the Daenerys and Drogos from local BN and comic shops (LOL). Can't believe it!! All I wanted was a Jamie and Drogon to complete my GOT series 1 collection.. but nooooooooooooooooooo I get Essos bombardment.
Well as you guys said, better than pulling Geoffrey's lol

GOT is too popular and the fact that these are blind boxes are two factors that I believe will make these keep value and even go higher. It is not like a POP! that you know what you can get, this is like more rare. You can spend $200 and more and not get the rares. I had a friend who got 2 Daenerys after she bought two cases for $150 each. I only spent $5 and got 1

Blergh. I went to my hobby shop today and was all giddy when I saw a seemingly fresh box. Picked up what was supposed to be Daenerys and 1/72 or 1/144 chaser, but instead opened up a Shaggy Dog and a Joffrey -- who I could probably call a chase version, because his legs were installed backwards. Luckily, the other 3 boxes I pulled were as expected from the case layout (Ghost, Robb, and PROPER Joffrey).

Went from a feeling to elation to bleh. Oh, well. Back to the hunt for that elusive Khal, Jaime, and Glow Walker (and to a lesser extent, Daenerys)!

Good think the hobby shop dude was cool enough to allow exchanges with their minis. Just exchanged the backwards Joffrey with a Galactus mini.

Went into a HT today with my Hot Cash voucher and was planning on getting some Transformer related stuff, but they were all cleared out. I found the GoT case and remembered the last time I was there the manager was telling me that it had been picked through (she had a very precise grasp on chase locations). Anyway, I picked out four at random, just to burn my voucher and the first one my wife opened had Jaime! Still need a regular Dany though, ha!

It was so funny because she opened it and I went, "OMG! Do you know what you just did?" and she was worried for a minute, haha. I had to explain the rarity thing. Then she got mad we didn't get Dany! :roflmao:

Not sure how I feel about the exclusives. Nice to see at least one new sculpt. Can't wait for them in color, hopefully series 2.

Renly and Tywin are two new ones. You can pretend the wolves are actually new, because technically they are different wolves. I'm pretty sure everyone in series 1 that died was represented in the pictures, so here's hoping there's more!

I already have two of the same wolf (can't recall which one) and two Renly figures. I really want a Tywin, and I still can't get a Drogo or Jaime. No need for Drogon or the GITD WW, but Drogo and Jaime would be sweet. I don't know if I'll keep buying blind boxes of these though, it'll probably be cheaper for me to just ebay the missing items.

They WERE in cases of 24, but there is a new Series 1 12-pack display in some Walmarts. (The SDCC In Memoriam case was also 12.)

Just thought I would let you guys know. Yes, Target does have 12 pk boxes. The hubby and I bought two full boxes. It seems the chase is in the lower back right-hand corner. We tested our theory last night and just bought the back figure at a different store and pulled a Jaime.

I saw this back right corner trick to finding the chase figures over the weekend, and scored a Jaime Lannister at Target using this method. It's the rarest Mini I have from any series. Now I have a normal White Walker, Arya Stark, Jaime, and two Joffreys. I've been trying to find someone to trade a Ghost for one of the Joffreys, but no luck so far. Most people seem to hate Joffrey. Hell, I do.

A few times I have grabbed from the back right bottom corner I pulled mostly a dany, but 2 times I pulled a rob, so did my friend. Only at Targets so tread carefully I don't think the right corner always is the answer, these were all fresh cases too.
