Horror Mystery Minis Series 4

Heey there fellow collectors ,

Happy New Year to all of you!

Since the new year just started I am hoping for another awesome year for the collectors of regular pops and mystery minis.

However, hopefully Funko will already be busy with a possible new series of the horror mystery minis.

What will the new series bring in for characters?

Personally, I am hoping for an unmasked Jason mini and maybe an Annabelle mini (I know the movie was not really good but she would make a pretty sweet mini)! Besides, there are many other great horror movie characters who I would like to put on my shelf! What are your ideas?

So what do you think series 4 of horror mystery minis would include? Are there already some speculations out there? Let me know, below!

More American Horror Story would be nice! Skull Tate, The Countess, Bette and Dot, Blind Cordelia, Hypodermic Sally, The Butcher, The Piggyman, Bloodyface, and the Rubber Man would make great minis, and so many more too! It can fill an entire mini line or two!

This looks like an awesome list! There are a lot of cenobites which could get their own mystery mini! I would love more Jason Voorhees variants and the Headless Horseman, just awesome!

Re: Cenobites...oh honestly, I'd love a line of just these Just a shame Pinhead from series 2 is so hard to find and expensive...just can't justify shelling out that kind of money for a mystery mini (my only complaint with collecting these is that unless you have unlimited funds it's near impossible to be a completist...plus the blind box issue in regards to getting doubles kind of sucks due to the price per box)...

There are just so many possibilities, personally I really think they should include CD and The Engineer, I do not think that they will include Spike (didnt he just made it on the bonus features?) I cannot recall seeing him in any of the movies. I just ordered Pinhead and I cannot wait untill it arrives, they really were spot on with the design and I cannot wait to find a spot for him amongst my collection!

- Critters (Critters) They could do a whole line of these!
- The Pale Man (Pans Labyrinth) not a horror movie, but he is scary as hell!

You could do The Hills Have Eyes, Hatchet, Wrong Turn, Hostel, Prometheus, Puppetmaster !!

There are so many possibilities and I am pretty sure all of them would turn out great! Why is this not happening yet!

I was a big fan of the Murder House, Asylum and Freak Show, and since we got Twisty, I would not mind a Bloodyface or Skull Tate, both awesome costumes and these would make great minis. I could get behind the Rubber Man, but that is about it, I was not a big fan from Lady Gaga as the Countess and I thought even with such a cool premiss as the Deadly Sins killer, the execution was not that strong.

However, to keep it mini related, give me a Bloodyface and a Skull Tate, maybe even a Rubber Man and I am happy!

Skull Tate, and bloody face are only ones that belong. Pigman maybe, rest of the characters aren't really horror, just secondary characters for the most part.

There are some that I would really want! Trenchcoat Freddy would be great.

It looks like Carrie and Norman Bates from the scrapped choices in Series 3 are going to happen for Series 4. Krampus and maybe Frank from Donnie Darko have a high probability too.
(Oh and I think they'll announce them within the next 2 months based on the previous Series)

I would love a Babadook mystery mini, but I have no idea how they would execute that idea, because he is hiding in the darkness most of the time.

How would they make The Thing, especially since it had multiple forms, do not get me wrong, I would love it to get The Thing, but I am just trying to visualize the idea a little bit so that I can get even more hyped for the next series of horror mystery minis. One thing is certain, I cannot wait!

An Audrey II would be an amazing mini, I could really see that one happening, especially since we got Jaws already, he opened a lot of door for the bigger horror movie monsters (Lake Placid, Anaconda, Piranha 3DD haha) but Audrey II would be a great addition to the bigger monster family.

Together with Samara of the Ring, you could include the boy and/or woman of the Grudge, they are basically from the same messed up Japanese horror genre. Both really scary, but really awesome characters I would really like to see made into minis.

However, why do you think these will be announced in the next two months?

Oh my bad, I was looking back at the dates of the previous releases. They were usually announced around late Summer/early Fall. I thought Horror Series 2 was announced in early Spring and released in Summer. Series 3 was the shortest announcement to release date though. I think it only took a month for them to physically start showing up in stores?

The Babadook one could be him how he appears in the television scene with just a simple pose. That or with his arms stretched out kind of like the pop-up book. Someone brought that up and I loved it too!

From what I recall, we saw art for series 2 when they released that catalogue at Toy Fair, which is always in February. But there was nothing at Toy Fair last year to indicate we were getting series 3, until they suddenly announced right before they started showing up in stores in like August.
