The Hobbit Mystery Minis anyone?

I know the Lord of the Rings sets just dropped but I'm already excited at the possibilities for more Middle-Earth MM. From what I'm gathering, the qualities of the LOTR minis are loved for the most part. I find the only REAL complaints are for the ratios (understandingly so) but I think the sculpts and look are praised.

Having said that, I would love to see even more MM based in Tolkien's world. The LOTR movies are old yet we just got a sweet set, so the HOBBIT would only make sense as a next set. Judging by the LOTR sculpts we currently have, I'd love to see how sweet characters like Thorin, Azog and Radagast would look. And even on a bigger side note, with Amazon coming out with a Middle-Earth series of its own, right now is the perfect time to keep a constant line of awesome Tolkien universe MM!!

It is odd to me that they didn't have a Bilbo, so I could totally see them doing a Hobbit set in the future

I'm gonna guess that no one replying to this topic speaks volumes not of the LOTR series but the Hobbit movies

But just think: the Hobbit movies might not have been all that, but the characters would make some pretty sweet MMs. At the end of the day they made Warcraft MM and the Hobbit at least had better costume/character designs than that....come to think of it, the Hobbit series as a whole was better than Warcraft so I think the chances are good

I'd definitely like a Hobbit set, especially if they're done as well as the LOTR ones.

Hobbits ruin everything, Sam & Frodo nearly ruined the movies and Bilbo is ridiculously boring....god I hate Hobbits/

Hobbits are definitely no where near as awesome as elves or rangers of the north but there was a metaphorical meaning to there existence (all be it really annoying ) but I think Martin Freeman was a giant improvement over Elijah Wood. The Hobbit movies had less Hobbits and awesome supporting characters and villains that looked really interesting. Thorin, Azog, Radagast, and even the Witch-King at Dol Goldur looked awesome. I think that aside from the lack luster of the Hobbit films (which I did not particularly hate) we should just be happy with getting super dope MM and I think a Hobbit series can provide us with those.

I loved the LOTR movies, saw each at the theater. I saw the first Hobbit movie in the theater. I've never watched the rest.

I can't believe the prospect of Thorin Oakenshield w/ Orcrist, Azog the Defiler, Radagast the Brown, Elrond (in full armor), translucent Witch-King, Translucent Necromancer, Bolg (whatever that guy was ) Legolas Greenleaf (in Armor wielding Orcrist), Another cool looking Gandalf highlighting The Foe Hammer sword!!!, Tauriel, a heavy Goblin King, and maybe even Smaaaauuuuuuugg doesn't excite some of you?!? Come on people, think about it A chance to put your LOTR MM next to the Hobbit MM has got to be sweet!!
