8 Days of Christmas Mystery Minis discussion

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

We're also getting Batman: Arkham Series, Disney Princesses, Best of Anime 2, and Five Nights at Freddy's in 2016 as well.

Then there's the Dreamworks set that was announced last year that still hasn't come out too.

Even though I like the style of the TWD & Sci-Fi lines I really hope they are not that style either. I almost hope that they have their own style.

Warcraft and 80s retro arcade mystery minis both have loads of potential. Very excited about these two lines!

THAT will be awesome! Love the idea.

I am all over the coming Peanuts MM's, I will hunt down every one till complete.

Surprised by Warcraft since Blizzard themselves are in the mini-figure game now with their Cute but Deadly line of figures (which are fantastic sculpts btw).

I am also wondering about Game of Thrones. Any of us who use ebay know that every other figure for sale is either GoT or TWD. They don't really move that well either other than a few of the rares, especially TWD ones. It's like the supply is much heavy the demand. Now they could have just overproduced those 2 lines and there really is great demand, I know GoT is a popular TV series.

Soooo excited for this series! One of the lines I was hoping they would do in MM form the most.

I am hoping Nintendo let's them do Mario and donkey Kong in the 8-bit form.
I am also hoping this is not like the first few mystery mini lines and we only get a few figures in multiple poses.
But this line does give possibilities for variants ( power-up versions, different colored ghosts from pacman, etc)

I really hope the set will include:
- Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Blinky (Pac-Man)
- Q*bert (Q*bert)
- Mario, Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong)
- Dirk the Daring (Dragon's Lair)

The rest would be icing...

I was thinking similarly. I could also see a Coily mini. I think the ship from Galaga might be cool. Also, Final Fight came out in 1989, but I don't know how picky Capcom is with their licensing agreements. I don't know if Final Fight would be considered retro though.

I'm SO glad Zootopia is getting minis! Although I wish they'd announced more Disney themed sets...but maybe there's some surprises in store for later on.

Great list! I would also add (if they have the licenses of course):
A variant/rare Pac-Man ghost (either one of the other ghosts or power pellet ghost)
Peter Pepper and AT LEAST one of the evil foods (Burger Time)
Mega Man and one of the bosses
Samus (Metroid)
Link (Zelda)
Simon Belmont (Castevania)
Battletoads

Doubt I'll get any, but the Warcraft and 80s games are tempting...and will probably be even more so once I see them.

I was excited for Cap 3 until I remembered they will probably be bobble heads :(

When will we start to see pictures of any of these sets?

We usually get glams about a month or two in advance to their projected release date.

Toy Fair and the Funko catalogue is probably the earliest we'll see any.

The Retro game series might be fun. I'll probably pick up some of them.

I'm more excited for all the DC sets. Really surprised there's going to be Suicide Squad minis! I can't wait to see glams of those!

I was a little disappointed there was nothing about more Walking Dead, Supernatural, Horror, or Sci-Fi minis. I know we just got new series of the latter two, but I was hoping for at least a confirmation they would be continuing. ;-)
