Spastik Plastik Dorbz (Carlos, El Guappo & Dino)

I finally got my hands on the ECCC Spastik Plastik Dorbz 3-pack and I cannot begin to express how beautiful they are. Obviously I am a little biased (fair enough) but after getting a close up look at them, they are by far the cleanest sculpt, most crisp paint app and wonderfully executed Dorbz to date. From Carlos' tongue to Guappo's margarita to Dino's sweet jacket, these three are everything that Dorbz can be. Thank you very much Brian and Funko for these guys. I can only hope there are some more Spastik Dorbz coming soon.

I agree! I absolutely love these guys! I am an in box collector and has to buy two of them so I could appreciate them out of box as well.

Love this set, they translated to Dorbz perfectly! The accessories really make them.

I picked these up too. After I took them out, I'm not sure what was making me debate purchasing them. They are really tempting me to continue collecting Dorbz, especially with the Looney Toons pics I just saw posted on the forum.

I knew I was going to love this set, it was a must-have for me even if it meant paying flipper prices. But getting it on the shop made it even sweeter! Love all the out-of-box pics!

So far less than 400 sets have sold, so yeah it seems like they're not striking a chord with everyone. But the cool thing about Funko is they don't just cater to what the masses like, sometimes they put stuff out there that they know isn't going to be widely popular but will appeal to certain niche collectors. I think that's awesome, I hope they continue doing stuff like this simply because it's cool and not because they want to sell a zillion of them.

I am glad that the Dorbz continue to get some love with Brian at the helm. The ridez coming out are amazing and more creative every time.

Funko does some pretty awesome stuff like that! Brian saw Brett posting here about how he had driven around all over the place looking for some exclusive and said something like "that needs to be rewarded, send me a message" and then just randomly mailed him a box of goodies that had not even been released yet! They also host white elephant contests here on the forums (I won a cool proto in one of them) and of course host the big events like Fundays and Fright Night as well. They know how to treat their fans well :-)

We picked up this set at ECCC and they are indeed some of my favorites. The Carlos Dorbz is a great counterpart to the Carlos Pop from SDCC. I'm waiting on a couple more things to be added to the Funko Shop to pick up set #2.

I am in the same boat, with waiting for some items to come in to combine shipping. I've learned my lesson from impulsively buying items, paying $7 shipping each time, and then seeing they are still well in stock the next week something else comes along. I would totally subscribe to a "just keep my tally going and ship me something at the end of the month" lol
