More Obscure Disney Pops!!!

As a heavy Disney fan, the news that Disney is making more Pops makes me wonder....

Which ones do you think are going to be park exclusives and which ones are going to be regular commons?

I think characters specifically pertaining to the park will be park exclusives. For example, the haunted mansion ghosts were from the ride rather than the movie and same with jolly roger. I guess indiana jones would be the exception but then again he does have his own ride. For park exclusives I think the yeti proto that was released will be one and maybe Mr. Toad? For commons, probably the animated movie ones. The new snow white ones for sure. Anyways thats what I think.

I would like to see more characters pertaining to the park, but hope that they won't be limited to park exclusives. It would be pretty cool to see more rides line with the characters on the carts. Can't wait to see what Funko and Disney releases in the future.

If they wanted to go really obscure they could do the alien from the Extraterrestrial Alien Encounters ride. I was young when I did that, I came out sobbing, it's always a great story.

im excited for more park pops. The dinsey park starz vinylmations were a great collection of characters, i hope they make a lot of the ones that were vinylmations. Like the goat with dynamite, tower of terror bellhop, sonny eclipse etc....

Maybe it's just me.... I've never been to any of the Disney parks (crazy, savage, how dare I..... I know) so I don't fully understand the appeal of the Park pops. They are super cute and adorable and I seeing them when people post about them. (So a little bit of a plus there)

Seeing more Disney they haven't already made would be ideal. Hercules (Need a Meg and Hades pop), more villains in general. I mean who doesn't love a good villain!

The regular Jolly Roger was released at the parks the LE one that came out at SDCC is the GITD one, they are probably going to end up doing this for NYCC too

MAD HATTER IN TEA CUP DISNEY PARK EXCLUSIVE!!!

I've been thinking for a while on the meaning of 'obscure'. I don't have a great knowledge of the American parks characters, so I instead focused on the Disney Classic films which haven't had any Pops. Will we see any characters of these films?

My personal thoughts:
It's unlikely we'll ever see films like Make Mine Music or Fun and Fancy Free represented, nor would there be any need. The Three Caballeros is another film made around that period, and José Carioca is a popular character in Brazil and well known in Europe, appearing together with Donald Duck in various comics.
The Sword in the Stone is one that amazes me. The characters are well known, Madam Mim could be called iconic. As could Merlin. And still no Pops. This is a strong contender!
We then pass a list of films Disney themselves don't think very highly of, The Fox and the Hound, The Great Mouse Detective, Oliver and Company and especially The Black Cauldron. And while I personally would love a Tod and Copper 2 pack, or a Professor Ratigan, I'm not sure the general public would. But hey, the more obscure, the better!
The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under are a possibility for more Pops. Bernard and Miss Bianca would make for interesting Pops recognisable enough by Disney fans.
We jump into the end of the Disney Renaissance now, to find well-known, beloved films that haven't had the love they deserve because they're surrounded by idiots. Ehm.. Far better films. The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules and Tarzan aren't examples of 'obscure', but we might as well let Funko know we're all waiting for Meg, Phil, Jane, Esmeralda and yes, Frollo.
Onto the 2000s, and with The Emperor's New Groove getting some love, who's to say that the same won't happen for Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear and perhaps even Dinosaur. Not the most classic Disney films, but you can't deny there's charm in each of them. I can imagine Atlantis being high on the wish list for some Disney fans.
Next: 3 films nobody talks about, because they weren't any good. Home on the Range, Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons. The chances of getting Pops from these films are very slim, sorry Lewis and Wilbur fans out there.
Bolt is the last one on the list before The Second Renaissance, and that film has a bit of a cult following. Bolt himself could be an easy repaint of one of the GoT Direwolves. Get on it, Disney and Funko!

And I haven't even talked about obscure characters from other Disney films. Once more, it's clear that Disney's library is a gold mine waiting to be discovered. I'm curious to see what the future brings!

Mr. Toad was just at SDCC this last cycle, so I doubt he would be at the park.. UNLESS THEY DID A RIDE! Which I would need. Please. Please Funko...

Hunchback is still number one on my list, followed closely by Treasure Planet, Hercules, Atlantis, and Tarzan. I admit to always having a soft spot for these midline-popular Disney films. Super impressed by the Emperor's New Groove Pops coming out!

But, seriously Esmeralda, Djali, Clopin, Quasi, Frollo, and Phoebus would make a really nice, colorful set. And Esmeralda, Meg, and Kida would make awesome Rock Candies.

I will always vote for more Disney Parks stuff! That's all my childhood feels right there If they could figure out a way to make a Space Mountain ride, that would be amazing. Maybe have a little Mickey in one of the cars.

I don't see a lot of Walt Disney toys out there though. So
