Harry Potter Wave 4

I guess it's time to start a new thread for the new wave! I've only seen this one (official) picture so far, but it can't be too long before we see the rest of the wave.

I think this might be my favorite Harry variant yet, but that might also be my Prisoner of Azkaban bias. ;-)

There's at least 3 other ones from this line floating around Instagram that I saw a few weeks ago, but I'm pretty sure we aren't allowed to talk about any of them yet since they haven't been officially announced.

That said, I'm excited about all of them.

They have, the first Quidditch Harry is from the scene where he's holding the snitch for the crowd to see and the SDCC one is just before he catches it/trying to catch it. You can tell that this one is the firebolt through the handles and the shaping of the broom itself. Or at least make an assumption.

Good catch didn't even think about it that way, just got caught up with the other waves so I won't mind a new one.

Love the new wave!! I'm glad we're getting more characters. I still have 4 to get from the last wave, but looking forward to completing this line! I think Luna is my favorite. <3

Luna is Half blood Prince and to me Ginny looks like she's from Order of the Phoenix.

Same sort of pose, either way she'll go nicely with the twins.

This wave looks great, each character has so many lil details that really make it. I'm really excited for Ginny and Remus ... and also ron and Peter and Harry and Herminone and luna lol

I wonder if we will get any exclusives in this set, if they are sticking with the 3rd move they could do buckbeak, really gaunt prison sirius, wearwolf lupin, flocked Buckbeak.

Maybe they'll release the images at a later date? I really can't imagine thats it. And a werewolf Lupin is needed by everyone. Lupin is a necessity in life.

Disappointed to not see Quidditich Ginny and Quidditich Ron from the pens in regular sized pop form. Wishful thinking, but I'm hoping they will be coming out as store exclusives later on at least!

I hope Buckbeak won't be flocked. Flocked pops really weird me out.

I was actually just thinking about this yesterday that if they ever made peter pettigrew, they should give him a silver hand variant and call him wormtail instead.

I'm so excited for Luna! I'm not collecting Harry Potter (only Fantastic Beasts' Newt Scamander and Creatures that are semi-scaled to display with him!) but that Luna Lovegood will be mine! She looks amazing!

So, my thoughts on these...
*Love* Remus! He has always been one of my favourite characters, and I was just waiting until they would make him! My first thought was that they'd go with the tan suit he wears in Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows, because it would be way simpler to produce, but I'm glad they went all out and have him in his green Prisoner of Azkaban robes. I adore that outfit!
Ginny is a great addition, long overdue but essential, I think!
Just one remark: Peter Pettigrew?! Really? Of all the characters you make one that's almost universally disliked? And not even the cool version with silver hand? I'm curious to know if he will sell well.

It seems to me like they're generally going in order of the movies so it might be a while before we get a Harry holding the elder wand :-#

Well, they did make Umbridge, and she's as disliked as Voldemort... lol

But I can't wait to get these!! Excited for 2 special Lunas so close together.

The only difference (to me, at least) is that it's somewhat cool to hate Voldy or Umbridge, so they'll sell easily. Pettigrew is just 'eh', just like the Dursleys or Mundungus Fletcher. Nobody likes these characters, but there isn't a strong hate for them, either. If I was Funko, I would've picked a different character.

Yay!!!! Glad they finally have been announced! Definitely love the new additions - Lupin, Ginny & Pettigrew! And the new versions of Harry, Hermione, Ron & Luna all turned out great! Especially Luna! That lion hat really is amazing!

The exclusives I bet will be announced closer to when the wave is about to be released. I am still hoping for Quiddditch Ginny, Quidditch Ron and Azkahban Sirius Black. If they had some of the magical creatures as exclusives that would be great. Buckbeak for sure!

They're sort of going that way but jumping back to POA was a bit of a backtrack since Lucius and Bellatrix, along with Prophecy Harry, were OOTP. But we haven't really seen anything from Deathly Hallows at all so it could be a time away.

People are going to want complete Marauders though even if they hate Peter and you can bet we'll probably get Lily and James before all is said and done.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I'm sold on the Harry. He just looks a bit... plain? The sculpt on the Luna is amazing, but I'm also not sure I need a third version of her as I'm not a bit fan of the character. It is a very cool looking character though.

The rest are all must haves. PoA is my favourite Harry Potter book and movie, and Hermione in her pink jumper is an iconic look for me. Ron with Scabbers is really cute, and Lupin and Ginny are exactly how I hoped they would turn out! I know people want a Quidditch version, but I'm glad we got this more neutral version first. I'm sure we will get a whole swathe of Quidditch versions eventually.

I'm sure we will see some store exclusives for this wave as well. Is it too much to hope for a Knight Bus?

Now that we have Ginny and Lupin, I'm not sure there are all that many must haves left for me. I definitely want a Mr and Mrs Weasley, but I will have to consider any other characters or variants on a case-by-case basis.

I've never pre-ordered an entire wave of pops before but I did for the first time today with these (even though my wallet is still hurting from SDCC pops... maybe not my best move). This is such a great wave. Less excited about Pettigrew but this is one of my favorite Harry's ever and I don't actually have a Ron or Hermione yet and these are probably my favorite versions of them so far. Absolutely love Luna and will be very happy to have Ginny and Remus too. Really going to need to pick up Sirius now. He's one of my favorite characters but I was prioritizing buying exclusives until now.

Definitely hoping for some exclusives as well. Quidditch Ron and Ginny would be particularly welcome.
