Fundays Freddy Speculation

Just watched Ron's interview with Brian, which was awesome, and what really got me interested was the Freddy discussion at the end.

In case you haven't seen it, and if you haven't, click the link above, Brian basically said that there would be...

9 Inch Freddy

• 1 colorway sold at the SDCC booth
• 3 colorways given away at Fundays
• 2 definite character Freddys ( "only have so many 9 inch Pop that would make sense as Freddy Funko" )
• 1 possible character Freddy "that would wow you"

3 Inch Freddy

• 8 character Freddys

Now it wasn't exactly clear that all the colorways mentioned were gonna be 9 inchers, but that's what it sounded like to me. Maybe the Fundays Freddys will be 1/18 like the Fundays Mickeys. If that's so, I'm kind of happy I missed out on the Toy Fair Freddy, as that is gonna be an expensive line to keep complete. Awesome, but expensive.

And given his quote about only so many making sense, I'd imagine Buzz and Batman for the character Freddys. As for the third to wow us, I'm thinking it's an all new 9 incher. Just to throw it out there...how about a 9 inch Freddy Galactus to go with a 3 inch Freddy Silver Surfer?

I'm hoping for a new colorway for the 3 inch #00 Freddy, but Brian didn't make any mention of it. The only other one that I would love, but hate to miss, would be a red or yellow hair Clone Trooper, like the chrome Wobblers, to match my blue hair guy.

Since Brian also mentioned that he sometimes gets inspiration or ideas by monitoring the boards, what do you think or hope will be coming this year? Can't wait for Fundays!!!

I'm already getting a great deal of anxiety thinking about how hard it will be to track down some of this year's Freddys!

Walking Dead Freddy will most likely happen. Probably a Disney Freddy...like Captain Jack or Captain Hook. Probably one superhero Freddy (I'm getting tired of Batman everything, so I'd be fine with anyone besides him).

Some other ones I think would be cool would be TMNT, Wizard of Oz, and maybe an NBA Freddy wearing a custom Funko uniform.

My #1 choice for a 4" Freddy would be GITD Oogie Boogie Freddy. I really hope there is at least one Disney Freddy this year. I was really disappointed that there wasn't one last year. I'd rather see characters that haven't been made into Freddys yet end up being made as 9" Freddys. I'd also love a Wizard of Oz Freddy.

id like to see a Hannibal lector freddy---Scarface freddy-walking dead freddy, and id love to see a heath/joker freddy or two face freddy. half cute face freddy /half mean disfigured freddy.

I'm really really hoping the 9 reg size edition are affordable, i mean my wallet is going to take a good hit after picking up all 8 reg fred's, and i would hate to have to pass on these.
do you guys think the 9's will be 48's or 96's? as that should somewhat determine the price right?

Put a 9" Freddy head on a 9" Maleficent body. Paint the body red and trim with gold piping and filigree. Paint Freddy's hair the same as his skin tone, to approximate baldness. Give him a black, full, double Fu Manchu beard, thicken his eyebrows out; black as well. Nip the scepter flush to the hand, et voilà...

...9" Ming the Merciless Freddy.

REGULAR SIZE POP WOULDN'T BE THAT BAD, BALANCE MAY BE A PROBLEM BUT I 9 INCH WOULD WEIGH A TON AND IT WOULD BE HARDER TO GET ALL THE BUBBLES OUT DO TO ITS SIZE. WOULD LOOK MILKY UNLESS THEY CAN RETARD THE STUFF THEY USE TO SLOW DOWN THE HARDING PART. I WOULD THINK THEY WOULD HAVE TO HAVE A BASE ALSO SO THEY DON'T FALL OVER. HOWEVER, I MAYBE COULD SEE IT BEING DONE WITH A COLORED FIBERGLASS RESIN AND SPUN SO THE HEAD WOULD BE HOLLOW OR EVEN A CLEAR FIBERGLASS WITH A CANDY COLOR PAINT INSIDE THE HEAD

This^ plus Hulk please! I'd imagine there will be a horror Freddy since there was Leatherface, Krueger, and Beetlejuice, maybe a Michael or Jason this year. There's usually a music one also so maybe the Rasta one also. I really want a Hulk, Batman, or Spiderman though something Marvel/DC!
