Oh Mylanta! Funko posted that there will be 1 of 1 drop on 6/25. I'm so happy and hoping that the Funko gods will be with me. My family and I are flying to Kauai for our summer vacation. I really hope that we can try. Hopefully there's a chance and it's a bot proof way to purchase. How does everyone feel about this?

I wonder of they'll do it by fan rewards points as a lottery instead. That would make it that much harder for bots.

I wonder if they will do something similar at Fundays or this is just another summer hype.

The idea I had for the upcoming release 1 of 1 is that there should be a online lottery to buy a mystery box with a chance to score the 1 of 1. Like 5 pops that the buyer can select a line of. For example, if you're lucky and you get selected, you can pick anime disney, marvel d c. or masters of the universe. I mean, it would help move of inventory. At least collectors would end up with the stuff they like, and not some random stuff that they're not interested in. Maybe make a limit of 5 boxes per lottery win. I mean I'd be willing to put out good money for the chance of a one of one. It's the closest thing I have to that is a one of one is a White Lantern Superman Freddy.

Pop yourself would be a 1 of 1, but the funko Instagram post doesn't state that. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what the details are.

There wasn't many details on that ig post. I think a mystery box would be the way to go. The post had the date 6/25 on it so I'm thinking they'll put out more info soon

I think you are completely right and it's gonna be some type of mystery box where you can get a 1 of 1 in one of the random boxes. But we'll see.

Personally I like this idea, but have given up almost all hope that Bots wont find a way to queue up for this. I do hope that Funko does find a way to maneuver around for this drop and future special drops.

I wonder how these are going to go as well but I do have a theory. I believe they are going to announce the pops and one of two things are going to happen once all the pops have been announced. 1) they allow people to enter with a free ticket to win either pop. If you would like another chance to win you would have to use some points to get a second ticket to win one of the 26. Or 2) you get a free ticket to use on a specific pop you want to try to win and if you want a second chance to win the pop of your choice, you would have to use points.

Either way, I would like a chance to win one. Give the fans a chance to win one, right!

I think the icon of 2020 may be a politician or musician. There was a lot of news on both fronts so I think pulling someone from one of these industries would be more likely.
