Had an amazing time this year and I felt very safe in the environment. Thank you to all the forum members who warned us of thieves. It's unfortunate that we have to worry about those type of people but heart warming that Funko Fanatics were looking out for people.

I was scrolling through the Fundays pics on Funko's blog, and saw someone who dressed up as a custom Freddy. If that was anyone on these boards......I loved the outfit!

MyLittleFunkos wrote:I really enjoyed seeing so many people leave with something at the end of the night. It's been said before, but I don't think you can say it enough, Funko did one heck of a job with Fundays. The spinning wheel before the event, the pictures with the giant Freddy, the very fair prize distribution and the crowd control were great! I haven't taken a picture of my haul, yet, since I'm still recovering from a hectic 5 days but eventually I'll get around to it. Needless to say, I had one hell of a night and will forever remember this past weekend. I was running on E the whole time but nothing could take away from hanging out with old friends and meeting so many Funatic's that I've wanted to meet for years.
I think it's fair to say you had a great night.
Good to see you again at Tivoli's.

Re: FUNDAYS 2016!!!
This was a great Fundays. Really awesome. My initial write up is back a few pages.
Suggestions for 2017 Fundays:
- Please work with the hotel to have an indoor waiting location. If we have to wait outside, any chance there's a location in the shade? The delay and the sun/heat was not fun.
- Once we entered, we immediately got in the long line to spin the wheel. The wheel initially was 1 spin per person, but then soon because 1 spin per 10 people to move the line faster. I know that the wheel is a tradition, but what if the wheel was a scratch off card in your envelope. When you scratch it off, you can then go to a specific area to turn in your card to claim your prize (or if people want to keep their card, then use a custom hole punch to show that the card has already been used). There would be an extra cost to create the scratch offs, but it would also avoid the long line at the wheel and just be another item in your envelope. Plus all of my family and group got spun together. So we had 1 chance at the wheel which got us a t-shirt. If we all had a separate card with 5 options and a 20% probability of each of those options, then we would have had more opportunities for the different prizes like Mystery or proto.
- I saw some very good behavior from the prize patrol. They spoke politely to people and told them to remain in their seats at their table and to not follow the prize patrol. With the pre-sorted bags, that worked well. Unfortunately, the worst behavior was at the very end when the excess protos were randomly being handed out and not being dropped at the table in a pre-sorted bag. For everyone's safety including the safety of the Prize Patrol, I would encourage even stronger guidance that the Prize Patrol should not give any items to people out of their seats and away from their table. "Stay in your seats" should be the reminder to repeat during distribution.

And please work with the hotel on the price of parking if you are attending the event. Last year it was 10 or 15 bucks. This year it was 60, which was a real kick in the teeth.

Hoping next year for a lottery system for tickets. They sold out in 10 seconds, and I was there right at noon, when the second flipped over from 11:59:59, and still missed it, as it must have taken me 15 seconds to auto fill my info, and press continue on the three pages.

especially if funko announces when the sale for fundays will be for next year, like they did this year. in which case it will sell out in 1 minute.

Or even less than a minute! I'm going to rally my friends again for next year to help me buy tickets. One in particular always seems to have good luck with buying limited stuff from online sales.

I hope that they announce the sale date and time in advance because I will not likely be able to get tickets if it's unannounced.
But...
I REALLY hope Funko uses the same process for tickets like Fright Night. I would love for the Hall of Famers, long time members, and active forum members to be given a chance at the first +/-500 tickets.

Iv already started working on recruiting my friends to try and have have a chance at fundays tickets. Fundays if my goal for 2017, sadly they don't see the 'point' of it all
It would be cool if they gave board members like a 5 second head start l o l

I already asked my boss to help get fundays tickets, he is the only person I know who might be on the ball to get them once they go live. I will ask other family members as well to help out. This year I was so lucky to get tickets when the sale went live.

How much were the tickets last year? has the price been going up or have they stayed around the same price as other years?
