SDCC 2016 Princess Leia unmasked holding a thermite grenade. She was supposed to come to Denver Comic Con the year after, and I was going to have her autograph it, but she cancelled because of filming conflicts.

I gotta ask...is it really a grail if the only thing that prevents you from getting said item is saving $$? Is it really a grail if you have the money and you just refuse to pay its current market price?

Because my definition of a "holy grail" is something that involves a long journey. Something that may take some work to track down who even has the item, and among them who is even willing to sell or perhaps they set you off on a quest to get them an item for trade to get said item. etc.

I don't think so. While I have no grails, anything on my want list is something that I just haven't come across yet at a price I'm willing to pay. There are some that I've seen, but no piece of plastic is worth that much, period. There are some that are decently priced, I just haven't seen them yet. Lots of them I could just go get, I'm sure they aren't that hard to hunt for online, but where is the fun in that? I'd rather stumble across it than turn collecting into a credit card exercise.

1/12 Glow Freddy Chocula.
My first pop Grail the moment I saw him and still at the top of my list. Took me a few years to find one but finally did!

One pop I would love to own is NYCC Qui Gon. Not sure if I'd call it a great but definitely out of my price range atm.

I was fortunate to win mine recently in a waffle (Unmasked Leia Boussh). My new number one would be She-Ra, then Green Phoenix.

All 4 of the Rocky movies pops. I jumped in on the pop craze way after these were too expensive to attain on secondhand market.

my grail is 2011 SDCC spider-man. Hoping I can grab him this year, should've with our fundays haul from last year but we knocked out a lot of our older items that we wanted.

other than that, droids boba would be my other only grail that I don't hace.

Awesome!! Congratulations. What a great feeling! Good luck on your next.

We used to have a thread where people would list their grails so that the forum members could try to help each other out. A few years ago a lot of board members found items they had been searching for for a long time! Grails are worth a bit more money now so they are harder to move around but I"m sure there's a few we can satisfy here.

I've been waiting a while to find an og chase green lantern without too much damage. I've got some ebay gift cards burning a hole in my pocket, so hopefully I can find one soon.

This is a good point. There's several I've been after a long time but the $$ definitely stops me. It's not that it's hard to find, even the 2011 and 2012 pieces are attainable every few weeks/months, you just have to be willing to shell out. But to some people who have less income maybe the $$ is the "journey." it's working hard for a long time to scrimp and save to achieve that Grail. Just two sides of the same argument right?
Me? I'm just stubborn lol If I decided to not get my afternoon tea every work day THIS YEAR then I could buy my flocked Sulley this year :D

Definitely need Holo Darth Maul and Flocked Chewie. There are times, like bonus pay check months where I am willing to shell out some money for the more expensive Pops, but in order to obtain these would require some serious budgeting.

On a positive note, in the last couple of months I have been able to procure Unmasked Boushh Leia and Freddie Poe.

Hmmm... I don't know if I have any holy grails that I'm constantly dreaming of getting. I mean there are things that I'd like to have, but nothing that has me spiraling into a frenzy. I guess the closest thing, but also something I'd never spend the money to get, is the Two-pack Sorcerer Mickey and Chernabog
