Got Max last night at GS. IIRC The date on their website said 11/2 for Grinch. Really weird separate dates like that. I have pre-order in at BAM for the flocked Grinch, NO date at all for those......

What do mean? There is a blue chase variant that looks great. He is wearing a purple pink Santa suit. What's not to like? Max adorable with his reindeer antler. Now there is also flocked version of him.

He is asking if this chase is in context to anything or if they just put together some random colors for the heck of it. To the original question asker: they put colors together for the heck of it.

And to answer your question - I don't like it because it *isn't* in context to anything, it is just random colors for no apparent reason except that someone at Funko wanted it to look like that. It just seems like a chase just to be a chase, no real meaning behind it. If it was the book colors that would be one thing, but this just seems like laziness to me.

They had so many options for a chase. The "naked" grinch could have been a common. They could have made the santa outfit a chase. Santa holding a Christmas tree? Holding a roast beast tray? Added a tiny Cindy Lou to the box? And so forth.....

Any updates?

The Dorbz Ridez is out.

I assume the normal versions are also out since I was mistakenly sent "Max" instead of the Dorbz Ridez by an Amazon seller.

I see a couple flocked Box Lunch Grinch on eBay, in hand, but no placeholder on the Box Lunch website. Any idea how spread the release is?

My BAM pre-order of the flocked Grinch hasn't shipped.

No idea about the Calendar Club flocked Max.

Saw Box Lunch versions and regular Grinch but I am holding out for flocked, non-roast beast Grinch. Anyone know when the BAM version comes out?
