Deciding if its worth taking the day off. I did last year and found it to be so-so in terms of finding anything: Target was a sh**show, as were a few others. What do people think, will this year be worth taking the day off to hunt?

These types of days (such as SDCC or NYCC release days, Black Friday and even Force Friday) have become much more savage than they used to be. If you really want these pops, yes. Take the day off, wake up early, be prepared.

Official Funko product announcements are now live on http://www.starwars.com/news/force-frid ... s-and-more

I don't know what defines 'officially announced' but there's multiple stores in my area with The Last Jedi Pops / products on shelf, many of which are allowing sales -- let alone all the leaks on reddit. I think we should be able to discuss the commons, at the least. I wonder how much will be left by Force Friday II.

Only thing I'm looking for a force Friday is red Stormtrooper from Target. The flock Chewbacca from FYE. Rope dropping ThinkGeek in hopes of getting a chase Porg.

Plan is wait at thinkgeek for my 1st chase. Walk to FYE hope for chewie. Target go to and see the crap show. Thinking about hitting up toysrus for the midnight for the free poster and shirt

I didn't know about the flocked Chewie @ FYE -- I've seen the chase, Walmart Leia and BB, Target Trooper and TRU Finn. Is there anything else outside of commons? I think Leia and Chewie are the 2 I would like, but the poster + shirt would be cool.

I have 4 commons from the last jedi I got from tru today, I didn't do anything underhanded, they had them on the shelf and they overrode the date and let me buy them!

I stopped by FYE today in an effort to pre-order the new Chewie (with a number I have from someone who already did so on reddit) and they said the number was "called in" and that all pre-orders were being cancelling. They couldn't confirm that they would actually have the stock on Force Friday II. Maybe he'll be on their site.

Is the "Red Stormtrooper" really a target exclusive? Or is it just a description that was found at Target for the one Michael posted up above? I'm hoping it's not a Target exclusive ... that would make 3 there if you count "flying porg" and "kylo w/Helmet"

I completely agree. It's ridiculous that they're waiting so close to the release date to announce these. I hate it when they do that, and it benefits no one. They are arguably the ones who get hurt the most by waiting. Fewer people will know what's coming out, which will result in fewer people buying their products, especially early on. I like to make a list and a game plan well ahead of time. Thankfully I have most of the picture from leaks, but there's still a decent amount I don't know.

I plan to hit target at midnight for their porg excl and a chance at a giant porg if other internet whispering a are true maybe Hot Topic in the morning and I have a list of stores I'm going to try and chase the porg chase the commons will have to wait till after dental work. I'm hoping we do get a before hand list of exclusives so if I need to plan another stop I can
