Re: Funko Funkast - Questions for Brian!
Just a fun question, I'll leave seriousness to others.
1) Have Funko employees, particularly the art department, render each other in any of the Funko styles for entertainment?

Re: Funko Funkast - Questions for Brian!
This might be too technical a question, but I'm wondering if it is brought the your attention that occasionally a number in a product line is used more than once? For instance, in the Star Wars line, numbers 90, 91, 125, and 176 are used twice. I know it's a small thing, but it drives us OCD collectors crazy!
On a lighter note, has anyone at Funko ever considered Hamilton pops? It seems like a slam dunk, but maybe I'm unaware of a rights/licensing problem.

Re: Funko Funkast - Questions for Brian!
Excited for the next podcast. Here is my three-part question for Brian:
What was your original vision/dream for Funko as a company regarding range of products and platforms it would be in when you first acquired it?
Assuming you have already met/exceeded the initial vision. What is it now?
And if you exceed that, what would it be next?

Thanks for the opportunity!
1. I am not sure if you're married, but if you are, what did your wife say when you told her you wanted to buy a toy/collectible company? If she was now supportive at first, what did you say to convince her?
2. How was the idea for sub boxes born? Did marvel, Disney, etc come to you or did you bring the idea to them? What's your assessment of how successful they've been up to this point? What are the challenges you face with sub boxes?
THANKS AGAIN!!!

A) There has been some cool Funko lines in the past that have come and gone. Is there a past line you wish you could bring back?
B) We now have Spastik Plastik Pops and dorbz which is cool. Any chance we would see the return of actual Spastik Plastik return with new originals? How about Fantastik Plastik with current licenses?

Re: Funko Funkast - Questions for Brian!
This sounds like a an awesome idea, Yoko! Definitely glad I finally jumped onto the boards!
Here are some questions for Brian:
1. What are some lessons as a CEO that you learned that you would share with would-be entrepreneurs?
2. What was the biggest problem you had to solve as CEO of Funko?
3. How do you deal with failure? I feel like that is just a part of life and always am curious to know how most people handle it.
4. What has contributed the most to Funko's success?
5. What is your favorite pizza topping?
Thanks!

This should be a pinned post!
1) Have you guys ever considered making the Pop Rides moveable? You can do a chase version with rubber wheels and metallic paint! That target exclusive lightning mcqueen was awesome, but wished it was moveable...
2) Pop Kites?
3) Pop phone cases?

We have some really good questions here and I really wish that the Funkast crew would do something like a two hour podcast where all he does is answer our questions. I want to know the answer to everything

We did a round of questions with Brian this morning- you'll get a good chunk of his answers on the next podcast, and we saved some for future episodes as well. I'll keep this thread open for additional questions for Brian, so that we can do this again soon!

Re: Funko Funkast - Questions for Brian!
I have a question particularly on the retail side (sorry if such has been asked)
Does Funko have anything to do with the distribution of things, or is that on the store side? Obviously Hot Topic, every store country wide has an abundance, then places like Walgreens are so hit or miss. Even being a manager, I can't get things in or answer questions as to when. I know contracts are involved, but is anything being dome to make these issued better?
Bonus question -- You probably can't answer, but does Walgreens currently have a toy buyer? We don't seem to have one in the directory. How long are contracts for exclusives planned in advance?
Thanks Brian!
