That's awesome if Gotham by Gaslight is coming out. That's a huge want of mine.

However, that Gamestop Batman is not 89 Batman. It might be close enough for some, but the Batman symbol is off (see the recent Batman Returns Dorbz 3-pack for the correct emblem), where the cape meets the chest is off, the belt is off, and all the details are missing from the cowl, boots, etc. The Gamestop figure is just a repaint of the regular Batman mold, where a proper 89 Batman would need to at least be as detailed as the Batman v. Superman figure or the Dark Knight figure. Honestly, the Dark Knight figure is closer to being accurate to 89 than the Gamestop one.

Oh, I never noticed that. Also, yeah, gotham by gaslight would be awesome.

Actually, I think we may be getting one soon! I got this guy in a mystery proto grab bag deal at Funko Fundays @ SDCC. Looks on the mark!

Side note: This is my first post. Hi everyone! lol

I absolutely loved Gotham by Gaslight story and love this POP. I just wish he was holding a lantern to really kick in the detail.

Looks like Liberty Files Batman to me, between the goggles, cowl seam and belt buckle.

Awesome and much needed variant, though!

To my knowledge, Crimson Harvest is Francavilla's own private project, and not one officially for DC. Hopefully DC will decide to let him draw it one of these days, but as of now, it's just a "fan project" on Francavilla's website.

So despite the Harvest figure rumored to be at NYCC, I wouldn't expect a Pop from this series. But who knows, maybe DC will buy the design from him...

I have to admit I'm just not a big Batman guy. I have the regular and Earth 2, and plan to eventually get the ImPopster Riddler and Harley Batmen, BUT...the Steampunk Batman looks awesome and is now on my list of must haves. I'd love a series of Steampunk Pops, I really love steampunk. :D

Batman never wore goggles or the button up side of his uniform during Gotham by Gaslight or its sequel, Batman: Master of the Future. So this look is from JSA: The Liberty Files, despite the online talk. It seems like Funko is calling it Steampunk Batman to cover all their bases, sort of like saying it's close enough to both.

Either way, can't wait for this one. Looks awesome! Bring on Vampire Batman, Funko!

I've been holding off on collecting batman pops but all these new molds is making reconsider. I think as long as I stick to the comic book line I'm all good.

Anyone think they might vault the original 01 batman now that we have some new molds? They continue to make color variants off the original mold, but maybe that changes going forward?

I think I'm alone in wanting more from the original mold. Part of the appeal of the multiple Batmen for me is the same figure over and over in different variations. It adds a nice consistency to my collection.

We thought the Batman variants were absurd before, and now they have this new mold where they're gonna apparently remake every old Batman variant into this one. AND we have the Animated Series and all the variants, the Dark Knight Returns and all those variants. It's just crazy.

7 Dark Knight Returns Pops
6 Batman: The Animated Series Pops
5 NYCC Bat-related Pops
Blackest Night version 2, Earth-1 Batman, Super Friends Batman, and all-black Batman version 2
Steampunk Batman
Hooded Killer Croc
And the rest of the Imposters set yet to be released.

Aside from the redos, that sounds pretty amazing to me. So much great stuff to look forward to!

I just really really don't understand why they aren't giving us more Batman villains. When I started collecting these I thought of all the possibilities and I've just given up hope. I've been slowly losing interest in them over time and it's been 2 years. Don't know what they're waiting for.
