Re: 10'' Hulk coming soon to a Target near you!
My store in Bolingbrook, IL showed none in stock last night and limited stock this morning. i had to work til 4:30pm and right before I left work it said In stock so I rush over there and by 5:00 there was 5 on the electronic counter all with good boxes but broken hammers. The best part was they marked them all down to $21 which is whay every store should do!!! So took Hulk and my super glue straight home.

Long story short when I went there they were doing some kind of helicopter safety spiel in case someone got hurt and target was the only store open, so all you could hear was the helicopter going up above, it was kinda crazy! It was on the other side of the mall but still!

Yes, you can clearly see and unmistakably see it’s broken in the box. We found ours in store - there were 4 broken ones and we went to the counter in electronics to ask if any more and he said “yup, here’s the last not broken one” behind the counter.

Yeah it's completely off right at Hulk's left index finger. Where the hammer meets the hand is hollow, so there is not a lot of support except a tiny ring sized shaft.

Check in a Target with limited stock. Talk to a employee and he said is only one "in hand". That mean can be anywhere in the store. So I walked around to see if I found it, then finally I saw it in the corner where they put the clearance items; for my luck it was a broken hammer one. But they discount it to $21.00.

If people are buying them then from a business stand point there is nothing to replace. I guess I don't know about other states but in Colorado people are buying them and fixing them.

My online order arrived today and yep, broken hammer. Going to try Target customer service and see if I can get a partial refund at least.

ugh, I'm worried about mine tomorrow. Sucks because I used the Black Friday 20% off coupon on it so the item was actually already marked down.

The Head wrote:Picked up my Hulk today. I went to a Target that showed "Limited Stock" this AM. I asked the first worker I saw and he looked up the DCPI. He walked me over to the Funko section even though I said they weren't there and he then proceeded to tell me that they didn't have any in back and that the stock checker must have been wrong because he told a guy earlier that they didn't have them. He was really fishy, especially since I was there before the store opened and unless someone called in, there was no way someone else was asking about these. He didn't seem too interested in talking through it anymore so I proceeded to leave. I had a funny feeling it was BS though so on my way out, I asked another worker to look them up. She found them in the system and said that they have them in the back. They only had two left so I snatched the best one and was on my way. Glad my BS radar was up and working this AM.
He is beyond awesome! Even better than I thought he'd be. I originally wasn't a fan of this being the 10" mold and even though I would have still preferred a more basic mold for the XL Hulk, this is one badass Pop!!
You got lucky! That is good that you asked someone else. It is good that you had your BS radar on.

Hopefully yours is in good shape
I was able to call and get a partial refund. If your experience is like mine they will lead with a $5 rebate but mention that stores have been taking more off of ones that have the same problem and go for $10. Good luck!- Saucepan

Q&A failed horribly here. A case of where a fist and post should have been made solid, if that is possible given their mold technique.

I thought the hammer is "broken" broken, but it's not bad at all! Literally there's a hole you can put it back on?

That is correct! Just some glue or epoxy and that's all you need!

It doesnt go IN the hole. It goes around it. At the, obviously, weakest part of the stem. The broken part also has a hole. Not sure crazy glue on its own would be enough, but maybe you could find a rod that fits the hole and connect it that way. Curious how people are going about doing it, because THAT particular hulk i took a pic of, has no "easy" fix. Hammer head is too heavy for just crazy glue. Heck it was too heavy for the solid mold. It's why it broke.

About 2 in 3 of the pops have a broken hammer, so not only are they hard to find, but even if you find one, the hammer may be broken!

1st pop Marvel Thor bobble head and Captain America (2011) Walked into booth at SDCC and purchased in less than 5 minutes.

I fixed two already, one I just found and a buddies. The hand has a nub and the hammer is a separate piece. The hammer is solid and fits over this little green nub, which is too weak. You will see this little nub in your loose hammer.
Use a 3/16 wood dowel. Drill about an inch into the hammer handle 3/16 drill. The dowel will be tight in the hammer. The hand is hollow, if you leave to dowel long enough and measure good, it will sit in the inside divot on the bottom of the hand (the hammers handle end). Once you measure, and cut the dowel, you can fill the hand with glue (I used industrial epoxy). Then insert the dowel in the hole, turn the hammer till the damage aligns and let cure. Really came out WAY better than even an un broken one!! Still a spectacular Pop!!!

Re: 10'' Hulk coming soon to a Target near you!
well mine finally arrived in mail...box was thrown around as it was barely taped shut....so of course the hammer was broken off. It really was not packaged well as the hammer just floats there not even touching the insert. Glad that I was able to find one intact in the store just in case it came this way....Gonna go return this one

Yeah, thats not the "easy" super glue fix people here were hoping for. Like i originally guessed, you need a rod, or wood dowel, to make it work. Thanks for the tutorial, im sure it'll help others out. But mines came in perfect so i dont have to deal with it. THAT hulk that i took a pic of, has been sitting at target for a few days, now. If anyone wants to give it a go, more power to you. It's the target in Arlington tx across from the parks.

Re: 10'' Hulk coming soon to a Target near you!
Do they want an easy fix, or a good fix? It might not seem that easy, but mine only took about 1/2 hour not counting cure time. Thats only because of finding out my best way, measuring, cutting etc. My buddies I did in like 10 min. Gorilla Glue might work pretty good. Super glue, nah, only temporary. My Hulk can fall on the floor and that hammers not breaking again. No glue goop showing, looks just like factory......

Ohhhh I see. They could have just made all solid then! Why they made it hollow.... the weakest part is not reinforced :/

Does anyone think that Funko will listen to our cries and finally create a 6 inch Hulk? If so, what character design do you think they will do when making this new mold.
I guess our prayers have been answered. See below for comment from Brian@Funko

I think 10 inch hulk is super cool despite not really collecting a lot of Marvel. My target had a broken hammer one available and I figured, glue+discount=happy impulse buy! But they would only knock off 10% so I passed.

I heard from a target employee that if enough people report the broken hammer with pictures the target will contact Funko and possibly replace. Keep in mind I have zero clue if it will really go that way.
