That looks pretty sweet. Can't wait to see how it will look once the project is completed. Also, found it funny how you called them the "Kimchi cases". Kimchi Pasta does have a pretty awesome display.

Gah, Celeste I am drooling over your Gruesomes! One day I'll get ahold of that 1/48. What type of display case is that in the center? Seems like a good way to store a lot of Pops.

He does indeed, well worth copying his idea :-) Not just because it looks cool, but it's a great way to pack a massive amount of Pop's into a relatively small area.

Thanks Ninja, I appreciate it!

I just finished the first riser for my Kimchi case :-) This was just supposed to be a test fit to create a template for a Plexiglas riser, but I like the black so much I think I'm going to build them all out of this black foamcore. Kimchi commented a while back that her shelves were starting to sag, I noticed that he didn't have vertical fillers on his steps so I added the verticals to see if it would beef it up, and it does seem very solid. These are my girlfriends Pops on this one, I just threw them in there to check fit. It's all going to have to be reorganized once the other risers are built.

Here's my bat case glow display in progress, copying rolltide2014's idea! I've got a UV LED strip on the way, until it arrives I just have it lit with a black light tube. Have a few more glow Pop's in transit including yoda and the emporer. I've got blue crystal Heisenberg in there, he's not glow but sure does activate well under black light!

Ha-ha that's so funny I just bought 3 of those baseball bat display cases and I've been setting them up all weekend with the gitd and uv reactive pops I have also with the gitd spawn and all the IronMan with gitd eyes and arc reactors... I bought mirrored vinyl wrap and it Should be all done and set up with the mirrored vinyl as the back of the case and uv led strips by the end of the weekend.. I thi k itll look cool when finished... Pics to come soon... Im also gonna use the leftover vinyl to do the back of the ikea case as well. Also idk who said they wanted one of the space ghost customs that I have in the collection but if u really want one pm me and I'll contact the guy who I got it from and see if he has any left.. I know he did 10 of them and mine is #6... So lmk if ur interested... I am also having trouble trying to find a square display for my new IronMan with suit up gantry... It has to be at least 8lx8wx10h any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... i think it deserves its own little spot.

love all these displays - i am looking at getting 2 x ikea Detolf glass cabinet http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/80269122/
i have around 60 pop! so i need to use risers, but not sure in the US but risers in the UK are very expensive.
so what are you guys and girls using for risers apart from using the pop! boxes?

if you are using acrylic risers, what size and where did you purchase them from?

I got my risers off of eBay they have packs of 1 2 4 etc... Mine are 3 step clear acrylic risers 12"w x 9"h x 9"d... Eash step is 3" so it fits 1 row with ample room and 2 rows tightly... I can fit 5 pops on one step tightly and 3 with plenty of room in-between ... Also the price is not bad at all.. Pm me and I can give you the sellers name... He makes them to order so if u want different dimensions or colors it'll prob be more expensive but he can so it... Also I added a little accent piect to the display cabnet door pull... I thought it was a cool little piece lol

If you're decent with arts and crafts you can make them yourself out of foam core. There's a photo of the riser I made out of black foam core a few posts above yours. Also if you look at Kimchi's gallery there are photos of risers in white foam core, hers are what inspired me to try it. The nice thing about the foam core risers is you can make exactly what you want- 3 rows, 4 rows, varying step heights, etc. I have a glow Marshmallow man and the set of 4 Ghostbusters with the marshmallow blobs on them, I'm going to cut out a larger step in the middle of a riser so the Marshmallow man can be displayed in between the Ghostbusters. You can do whatever customizing you want with the foam core risers!

that size 12" x 9" x 9" (30cm x 20cm x 20cm) are about £11 in the UK - is that reasonable?
