Might be saved for SDCC or one of the other cons this year.

Or just that there's no way they don't already have a full character list for wave 2. If they made every single popular character in wave one, wave two would be boring.

They better come thru  The thing is that every other major characters that could be included in wave 2 are in the mystery minis line but yet still no Scarlet Witch. When should we expect an announcement for wave 2 ?

Grrrrrr. Brickseek shows my Target has 10" Thanos, but my Dad is making me wait for him to come back from his stupid exercise class before I can leave because the dog "can't be trusted" to not lick his infection.

Movie has to come first and be out for at least two weeks to a month. pure speculation.

We finally got the rest of this line in at work today and while I still have no interest in these Black Order Pops, they look really nice!

I’m kinda bummed that Cap doesn’t have the long hair and darker costume for his common maybe they’ll fix it for his exclusive.

I’m inclined to believe that Funko only went off of concept art but the mystery mini has the long hair. Same thing with spidey, all the toys have him as navy blue and red but his suit is actually Red and Black

It's not black, it's just a darker blue and the BoxLunch exclusive as well as a second run of POPs and minis have come out with the correct colors.

I bet they were working with promotional images given to them to avoid anything super spoilery. Like with Thor and the early images compared to now. I'm still banking on us seeing another wave after the movie comes out for sure.

Yes for sure. I was definitely a little disappointed with the initial wave in how generic some of the characters were (especially Cap)

I really hope that "action" posed Cap shows up soon but yeah this is Infinity War they should've just gone all out.

I’m looking forward to Wave 2, which I assume will have Okoye, Black Panther, Shuri, Scarlet Witch and Bucky. (And in my dreams, first look Captain Marvel!)

incorrect. the artist that created the suit has confirmed that there is no blue in the suit.

I’d be surprised if we got Shuri or Okoye as part of the IW line. They are doing a wave 2 for Black Panther so I feel like any new versions of either character will be apart of that. I’d say getting an IW version of BP is more possible but at the same time I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t get one of him either.

I got my IMAX tickets, I can't wait. The first fully shot film in IMAX. Make sure to get the legit IMAX if you have it in your area, and not the "IMAX" branded theatres.

How do you know the difference?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IMAX_venues

Popularly known as TRUE IMAX THEATRES, 15/70 mm locations use 70 mm film projectors, with the film running through the projector(s) horizontally, each frame being 15 perforations wide. 3D presentations are shown using two projectors and either linear polarized or LCD shutter glasses. These locations are capable of displaying aspect ratios as tall as 1.43:1.

IMAX with Laser locations use two 4K resolution digital projectors with laser light sources, with 3D content using Dolby 3D wavelength multiplex visualization. They are capable of displaying aspect ratios as tall as 1.43:1.

So you're looking for the venues that have 70mm or Laser Technology to get the full aspect ratio of the filmed content. Otherwise with the Digital Technology, you will have the aspect edited in post production.

For reference (far right is True IMAX)

Not to be a party pooper, but Avengers: Infinity War was shot with IMAX digital cameras and is going to be presented in the 1.9:1 ratio. Which means it’s formatted for the “fake” IMAX screens, and there’s really no point seeking out the 70mm screens.

No problem. Aziz Ansari has a huge rant about it a couple years ago when he went to the Digital Ones. They charge as much as the True IMAX one. Just another bucks for the big companies like AMC.

Welp, guess its better than nothing.

I was totally hoping I'd see something like Christopher Nolan when he shot the 7-8 min intro for TDK back in ~2008. But 120 minutes of it!

They should be. I think both are considered "Spoiler exclusives" (especially spider with legs), so they should release pretty soon after the movie comes out. I know Gamestop's exclusive is set to be released on May Eleventh, so that might be one of these.

One was listed as a Toys R Us Japan exclusive so I would guess it will be an Entertainment Earth exclusive as they had a lot of the TRU exclusives transferred to them. The other was a retailer I had not heard of so that could be the Game Stop one.

Also:

It shouldn't have to be said, but:

NO SPOILERS!!!!

I would be happy to create threads in "That's Entertainment" and "POP" to discuss the movie in general and discuss spoiler POP ideas. Even if you put it in spoiler tags, you might still accidently spoil somebody. I would recommend just avoiding it all together!

I will be cross posting in multiple threads too!
