I am so glad this is coming!! I was so bummed when i trekked down to SDCC in 2016 to wait in line at the pop up shop on Sunday only to be denied. So glad that it's a common too so I don't have to stress over having a cool Ad Icon in the collection.

I would think that this new one would drop the price of the original and people who waited would be able to buy the original one for cheaper anyways once this new one is out. Who knows though, maybe this new one will make a lot of people want the original and price goes up *shrug*

I’ll still keep mine no matter what. The original Bobs Pop means so much to me since I stay up all night after Fundays waiting in line with a friend. I ended up like 29th in line or something and it was a load of fun. Especially because I treated myself to Starbucks afterwards.

The difference is sdcc one has a burger. This 20th anniversary one is speculated to be a common 20th anniversary pop. Any case this guy will look awesome with my sdcc burger holding one.

First, I'm ecstatic that this is being made. Especially in that classic Wobbler pose. It looks fantastic, and I can't wait to see this guy in person.

Second, let's take a moment to reflect on things argued during the Toucan Sam fiasco, in which so many people argued "Nobody really likes the Ad Icons, they only want them because they're limited." Bam, here's solid proof that these ad icons really do have an ENORMOUS fan base, even without the added perk of being worth a lot of money. This is a common Pop that people are STOKED for because of the memories attached to it.

If nothing else, I hope this curbes Funkos worries that Ad Icons won't sell unless they're limited, and allows them to release cereal mascots with much larger quantities in the future. Because, yeah, more so than almost any TV or movie character, Ad Icons ARE nostalgic and memorable to people.

Kudos on this one, Funko. What a way to celebrate 20 years

Yeah It's been a shame that the previous ad cereal icons were in fact commons but Funko has relegated making all the current ones Funko Shop exclusives.

With so many more ad icon possibilities I hope this means an ushering of ad icons being commons.

As an aside, a restaurant/bar near me used to have a Bob's Big Boy out front and it went away sometime in the past year. Too bad!

Nice find! i made the preorder... with Bigapples... It's been a while since i ordered a pop through amazon, how are they these days with packing them... in the past it seemed they were just thrown in a box and shipped. i was thinking about switching to save on shipping.
