I wonder what Brian and the design team wanted to accomplish with this, most variants serve a purpose you know (Chrome, Mettalic, Bloddy, Black and White, etc.) but when it comes down to it, Batman has no business being 8-bit unless it is tied in with the Batman Lego movie

I've lived through video games from the very beginning and have always loved them. But I didn't like 8 bit graphics even when that's all we had Was happy to see them in the rearview mirror. Do not feel any nostalgia for them at all. But no biggie, I can't afford the time or space to buy EVERYTHING Funko makes anyway!

The problem with this Pop! is that it's not uniform with other Pop! characters. It will look out of place in many collections, especially out of box collections. The 8-bit design would have looked better on a Mario Pop!, (as others have suggested) but as Funko doesn't have the license thid obviously can't be done. I just don't think Batman was the correct character to test this design on...

It's that darn Batman so I don't like it, but it sort of looks like a leggo or something. I'm not sure, even if it wasn't Batman I don't think I'd be on board for this. Maybe if it was a Mario, or Luigi, a final fantasy character or something i might be more interested.
