Cad Bane is one of my favorite characters from TCW. I would love to see him get a Pop someday if Funko could get the rights to make them for that show.

Question for people here: any thoughts on whether the Funko booth will have commons for sale as well as SWCO exclusives? I feel like I read something in the past few months that made me think it was a possibility. Like, maybe even third-party store exclusives?

When I went to Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, they were selling celebration exclusives and commons. I do not remember seeing any other store exclusives, but this was before third-party exclusives became so frequent. I would love to see the Walmart exclusives too. CT Walmarts have been letting me down recently.

It would be nice to see some more pop rides and cantina folk. Rebel soldier variants would be great too or Force Unleashed. Maybe Dorbz Rides based on ECCC.

I feel like there are enough con vendors selling commons funko would never really do that. Booth space is precious and you might as well stock what's gonna sell (fast) and that's exclusives for the con. However, it would be cool if perhaps at the end of their booth they had just a random person selling POP Stacks. It's very hard (especially at SDCC) to make it from the Funko booth to the car, hotel, or even nearest vendor with POP protectors without a few box dent casualties.

Well...At ECCC 2016, they did sell some retail items at the booth after the exclusives sold out, so you never know.

I would highly doubt that they'd sell any 3rd party exclusives, though.

True! and agree on the 3rd party exclusives. I'm sure there would be some kind of contract issue or in the very least conflict of interest type deal that would prevent that.

You know one cool thing that Funko could do (i'll probably get destroyed for this) it perhaps bring back a small run of some retired POP only available at their booth at some cons.

This is at the bottom of the wave one announcement:

Shared exclusives will be announced April 12th.

So at least some of them will be shared with stores apparently. That's great news!

Not really surprising, since that's been the trend. Now everyone can have a Qui-Gon! Or a second variant if you're lucky.

None of the stickers have an LE number as have the non-shared exclusives for ECCC, NYCC, and SDCC. So hopefully these will all be shared exclusives. Plus all 5 from last year ended up being available (1 each at FYE, Gamestop, and Box Lunch and 2 at Hot Topic) so I would hope that rings true again this year.

Plus, lets face it, with a property like Star Wars, every time they make a limited edition they are literally saying "you know we could make a ton more money off of this, but no one needs that much money really."
