Some months are always going to be better than others, but that's half the fun of getting a random crate! You find cool new things you haven't heard of and there's been some awesome things in lootcrate.
I totally get just using the money to buy things you know you want, I had that debate with myself before signing up, but in the end I decided it's pretty fun to have a parcel come each month with random things in it and maybe get some things you already love or discover some new things to love!
And the dragon themed crate was awesome! I like blind boxing and I'm totally going to collect the GoT minis now. And the exclusive Skyrim Nord figure is so great! :)
Plus I have a collection of stress balls, and even though I haven't played D&D before, the 20 sided dice stress ball is really cool and I never would have found it otherwise :)

Hmm I thought I replied. Sorry if this appears twice. Am I the only one who interprets the tweet to be that lootcrate is exclusively carrying funko products in its subscription packages? That's how I read the tweet. Since there are so many of these type monthly crates nowadays?

I guess I didn't think they (lootcrate) would pony up the funds for an exclusive but I could be wrong since eberyone else reads it as they will have their own exclusive.

On a side note the boxes I get from lootcrate serve as excellent recycles for pops and minis I sell or trade and mail out. At least until the box supply lasts.

that can't be true...nerd box also has them.

i started a thread about loot crate a few months back because i found out they had funko. it's fun, just know that you probably won't like all of the things in there. it's for people who just like surprises...kinda a more expensive blind box. i cancelled a long time ago but have been thinking about doing nerd box, i like the stuff in their boxes a little more than loot crate.

I went to the Loot Crate booth at C2E2 and talk to the guy running the booth and he hinted that the exclusive line for LootCrate would be coming from either Guardians of the Galaxy or Ghost Busters or maybe both.

Ye sometimes you can tell if the box is smaller it is either a blind mini or shirt. The bigger box a couple of minis or a pop I think I have seen a combo of shirt and mini or shirt and pop yet.

They try to paint with a broad brush for these...so I'm hoping Ghostbusters or adventure time. Those seem to appeal to most of the subscribers.

Lootcrate is simply awesome. Their customer service is top notch and the prices are more than reasonable given the fact that you get a rad shirt in every package. I first subscribed in the Titan drop in march and was happily surprised to find what I got. Even if you dont like some or all of what you got in the box, you can use the rest as gifts or sell on ebay like the rest of looters. Cant wait to get home and open this month's adventure theme.

Slight Correction. You do not get a shirt in every box. Still though, I greatly enjoy it every month.

looking at the 2, and going off of the website i feel as if Nerdblock appeals to me more. I dont like the themes of lootcrate and pretty much its just about always been crap in the box. but at $19.99 a month, i dont know about that...atleast id get a $15 shirt out of it every month.

After 2 months Nerdblock seems unthemed so there's probably always something for you no matter what your tastes are. Both services provide good value for the cost.
