7-11 Exclusive Pops Sign-Up - HELP NEEDED

Awesome idea Cristina!

Can you put me down for the Rey Mysterio Exclusive just in case I can't find one near me. I will be on the lookout for Carl and Grey Wind for all the funatics that need them.

i'm looking for all three...

but i'm also gonna be 'that guy' who questions a list like this.

for example, ernie and i live very close to each other, and i'm pretty sure we check the same 7-elevens for pops. and i know we're also not the only people in this area, competition is fierce. but if ernie happens to find the pops before me, and buys them all to help out people elsewhere, it leaves me stuck looking around more, or having to rely on ebay or another board member. that means i have to pay for shipping as well. all when, if ernie had just left them there, i would have been fine paying retail price.

(sorry to call you out by name, ernie, but it's just an example.)

i get that we're all trying to help, but in some ways, this move also has the potential to screw over genuine collectors.

some people don't have stores near them, and i understand that. but i feel like starting a list now, when these are just beginning to trickle into stores, is dangerous. it's all too easy for someone who DOES have stores nearby, and is simply too lazy to bother checking, to say "hey, get me all the exclusives" and leave others high and dry. and it ruins the opportunity for some collectors to make a find because another collector has hoarded the entire stock 'for the board.'

This list is for the funatics on the board. If you guys have friends who want to participate than I would suggest that you tell them to join the board and become active. Then they can take advantage of the benefits of being a board member. This is only fair.

Since the closest 7-11 to me is about 3-4 hours away it'd be awesome if someone could send me two once they're a bit easier to find

edit: Once was going to be for a friend but I agree it's fair for her to sign up on her own on the board here. Just put me down for one then!

I just need Carl.There's a couple of 7-11's in Gettysburg and one back in the boonies that isn't too far away.I'll call first,but I think I will ride over either this weekend or through the week next week since the east coast usually gets stuff later.Besides,even if I call,they probably won't have a clue what I'm talking about,so I'm still gonna take a trip over.

Doc, I get what you're saying but why not just have Ernie pm you saying there are some at x location after he bought all he wanted leaving you one, or meet up with him after he's bought them all so you don't have to deal with shipping? Really this board is helping other board members out and like Stacy said, being a member reaps the rewards.

There's starting to be more and more people in my town collecting and joining the board, sometimes they pm me saying "x location has x amount left, hurry over and get it before its gone." I'd rather have any of these situations happen rather than going every day or so checking if any new stock has been put out or arrived.

He doesn't have the sticker but I've only seen him referred to as a 7-11 exclusive.

Grey Wind is a 7-11 exclusive for the the US, but not sure if other places in the US will eventually get him since it does not have a sticker. But anyways, Grey Wind can currently be preordered at Pop Cultcha (Australia) and since England has a place that now sells pops, maybe they will get it there.

I have 4 7-11 stores in my area that sell Funko pops. I left my number with all 4 stores, but I am still going in to check...and grab a Slurpee!!!! Blueberry this time. Count me in to Assist in the Search.

I spoke with a 7-11 owner and he said both Franchise and Corporate can order now. It's just finding a manager that is willing to help order them that is proving difficult.

Can't wait until these start coming in!

Bad english = Franchised stores

Truth. I went to 5 7-11's last night and found the one corporate one this way. There was a also a hard liquor section if that helps. ;-)

I've never seen a pop at a 7-11 near me, but I'll see if any happen to get these in during the next few weeks.

I'd also like to be added to the list as well in case I'm unable to find any. I'm looking for Carl only.

List updated!

I checked the 7-11 I pass on the way home - nothing yet, but I was encouraged by the fact that they straightened and organized the Pop boxes and mini displays since I was there yesterday

I'll hit the other two 7-11s that sell Pops tomorrow, and I have my mother and co-workers that live out of the area looking as well...and I may have neglected work to make them a small flyer with pictures of what they are looking for :eek:

It did save me time explaining what I want.

They should start showing up soon! I'm hoping for a successful weekend!
