Part of the reason I display out-of-box is so I don't stare at the numbers on the boxes and drive myself crazy about not having all of them!!!

I just counted mine (which includes the ones my daughter has as well as mine and I am surprised to find that I have over 100. I am far from being a completist. Primarily collect the ones that appeal to me. There are some where I will like 1 character from a series but try not to get it because guaranteed I will want them all. :)

I have a grand total of... 16! Yay! lol. I only started collecting a couple weeks ago, but I really only plan on getting the ones I want. Which won't be too many.

That actually makes sense. LOL The only regular Disney Pop that I don't have is Stitch, because I walked out of the movie (hated it). That missing number would have drove me crazy.

I have even fewer than you! Haha. I'd love to collect a lot more, but I just don't have the space for them right now. I'm thinking of selling off a bunch of my Dunnys and toys to make room (eventually) if I decide to more rapidly collect POPs. For now, I'm doing what you're doing and am only buying the POPs I really want. They're slowly squeezing into my hobby room one by one.

Yeah, I like Disney. I had a vast VHS (what's that) Disney collection before my oldest was even born. I'm OK with admitting that. ;-)

I'll admit,Stitch is the only one that I don't have either.It's just not really my cup of tea,movie wise that is.And VHS tapes,I have plenty of them still laying around too.HaHa!!!

It might be a mom thing. When the Stitch movie came out my oldest daughter was four years old. I thought Lilo was acting like a little bi'otch and my daughter wasn't enjoying the movie anyway, so we walked out.

i get a different number everytime i count, so i gave up on getting a exact number. its in the mid 400's and my protos are in the high 100's somewhere around 180-190, i think. thats as close as m getting to a exact count

Well, I'm guessing the numbering is like that to have an ongoing sequence for Television, Movies, Marvel, etc. as opposed to numbering sequences per series. I personally think numbers 1-50 look a lot better than 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 etc.

Yeah but wouldn't it be better if the sequence was in the sub categories. Like what if game of thrones was. 1 2. 3 4 then series 2 game out as 5 6 7 8 for example

I really like Lilo and Stitch, and think it's one of the few Disney properties where the subsequent series and (some) movies held the standard of, or even improved on the first film. But then I love Pleakley, and how Disney actually let the story writers/animators develop him. His progression showed so much progress at Disney!

Also, I'm a huge animation nerd! ^^

I'm not a completionist, at all, there's just so much cool stuff I want, and I always end up jumping from one fancy to another before I can get a full collection. I've resolved with myself that I'm only going to buy stuff I really like, and keep my completionistic tendencies to small lines (though you could argue Disney, Pixar and Ghibli's entire library on dvd/bluray isn't exactly tiny..). My only complete sets are the 7 TokiDoki cactus pups and all published Foxtrot omnibuses.

Though, I had to have Sally with my Jack and Eve with my Wall-E, so you could say I'm making my own small collection "series". ^^

A lot of the Disney Pops I have,I've never even seen the movies yet.Wall-E,Nightmare Before Christmas,Beauty and the Beast,but I did finally buy Monsters Inc. when they re-released it the other week and watched it.I freakin loved it,and now I want more Monsters.I hope after the prequel comes out,they decide to do one set after Monsters Inc.I just hope they don't wait another 12 years though.

Oh and I have 82 POP! not including the protos I have, oops I have 28 POP protos. My POP! collection is definitely character driven, no need to have them all or even all the pieces of any particular set. Just what I like!

Actually, i do have a pop batman tshirt, but it was given to me...i could easily walk around the con like that...love wearing a baseball cap, do it all the time.

Me too! I have 16 also! I started collecting in February so I feel like we're doing good so far!
The only "completion" I have is all the Iron Mans I think.. 6

I'm new at collecting them (started close to a month ago) and I have 32 right now. Unfortunately I only have 1 variant (Px Bloody Bicylce Girl from the Walking Dead (got it for $11!)). I'm trying to only get characters/series that I'm interested in and not get very many variants unless I can get them cheap, since prices for POPS! vary from store to store (plus the retired pieces will be harder and more expensive to find). But whoever has some pics of these collections of 400+ I wanna see them!!!!
