Majority of mine are OOB. I have 7 Baseball Bat displays for different series and some go in the Detolfs. Just ended up dumping the boxes because of space reasons but will consider saving them if other people need them.

Yay for old threads coming back to life!! And I prefer to take the Pops/Dorbz Out Of Box. There’s so much detail that gets overlooked when they stay in their cardboard prisons. And holding the actual Pop/Dorbz rather than holding the box is so fulfilling as well.

In-box only. I don't own a single one that has ever come out of the package.

It it comes wit a box, It gets displayed in a box as the box is part of the item. If it comes in blind bag or box, then there is no choice but to display out of box. Keychain pop are in box and in blind bags so those get displayed accordingly.

1st pop Marvel Thor bobble head and Captain America (2011) Walked into booth at SDCC and purchased in less than 5 minutes.

That is the only exception I make, but all of my blind boxes are displayed in custom enclosures that include one box.

Everything I collect stays in the same condition I purchased them. That's how I like it.

I have a handful out of box but the majority of them are in box. Its definitely easier to put together a display with them out of box but I have seen some pretty slick displays none the less.

Re: in box or out of the box... that is the question
I do both. My wife has pretty much gone completely out of box. I have a hard time taking some of the higher end items and discarding their boxes. The ones I display out, I make sure to store away the box for future needs.

Free the Pops! Out of box is definitely the way to go. The only ones I keep in box are Pops I just need shelving space for. Anything pricy goes behind glass, but I have commons just in the open. I just love the way they look!

I would love to do more out of box but I don't have room. I will take a really nice piece out of box for display a few at a time, for example Enchantress looks particularly great out of box

A healthy mix of both I think is pleasing to the eye in a display.

That's the difference between a toy and a collectible IMO. I'm a collector. I don't play with toys, not that there's anything wrong with that.

The majority of my collection is out of box. But there are a few pops I keep in box and in a protector.

I'm all in box - I'm a little weird about the uniformity and I'm a historical collector anyway so in box makes me feel better.
