That could be fun once in a while, like for a store exclusive or something like that. And it would make it more fair and give more people a shot at those limited chases like at hot topic, but overall I wouldn't like it. Mystery Mini's are perfect for that type of thing. I guess I could still just go buy the chase on the open market but having to buy pop after pop to see if I got the chase could really start to suuuuck lol

Some of the stores did this. Hot topic had the “pretty woman” leatherface chase as a blind box. Think I ended up buying 4 before getting the chase.

I can relate to this and feel exactly the same. The problem for me is I also don’t find chases in the wild ](*,)

Same I’ve only found one once from the Dark Crystal lol

Lol, that's some next-level detective work. I'm surprised the employees didn't say anything or probably didn't care.

Yeah, the kid behind the counter didn't care at all. He had the whole shelf pulled apart, and he had each mystery variant stacked in small piles. He told me if I was looking for something he would help me out but he was taking any chase he found...of course.

I dk how to feel bout that. It seems a little selfish but I can see both sides

This is probably why hot topic has that policy they have now

It could be worse. I recently found out a local HT employee was taking the chases and reselling them online. Has been caught before and still continues to do it

I like the idea of mystery boxes but at the same time it could and will upset a lot of people. Mystery Mini type things are addicting to me so that would apply to pops as well lol.

I prefer not having blind boxes for Pop! chases. Since I buy most of my figures online, I get to experience the blind factor of opening the package to see what I got. And if I decide to browse in-store, I’ll get the chance to potentially find a chase in the wild or select the common that I want if it’ll remain in-box.
Funko interests:
-Ewok Pops!
-Mortal Kombat Pops!
-TMNT sodas
-Funko tees

They used to do this in hot topic and the chases are very rare now wish they would do those again. They also used to do a mystery box with a “chase” figure because they showed 3 you may get and the 4th was a mystery funko pop with no chase sticker you had a chance to get.

Blind boxes would make it more difficult to find chase pops and the store may have more damage product from people trying to open up the Blind boxes and now take a loss maybe just do chase drops online.it is nice to find them in the wild

I am usually the same way when it comes to chases. having a 1/6 chance at getting one is bad for me unless I get them in the store. However, if it is a variant that is numbered from 100 to 5000, then I may roll the dice. This is less of a chance and I'm likely to get one or two variants. Like the Huckelberry's at last years SDCC.

Yes for sure. I do like it though and I think it is a fair consequence for anyone who 'needs' the chase.

I think it also helps clear shelves of all those pops just sitting there too

I did the same thing trying for the DBZ Chase trunks it was a great time lol

I'd like to know the percentage of people voting yes for the blind box idea who also like to gamble. I feel like those go hand in hand.
