POP! Monsters (Funko Original Line)

I'm definitely going to get on board with these Funko Monsters. I'm curious as to the frequency these will be released. I didn't pull the trigger on Tumblebee this morning, but I'll definitely pick him up in another order from the Funko Shop.

Brave or stupid, I don't know which! It initially said LE 5000 on the site, but that was later taken down. I may just bite the bullet and get it anyway today! LOL

I think Funko sent a formal communication saying it is LE 5000. They don't always list it in the description but it was confirmed.

Just order it and have it shipped to a US friend and then the friend can ship it to you

There's ways around it for sure, just seems weird that Funko is wiling to ship subscription boxes (thank you Funko please don't ever take this away) but they won't ship Funko Shop items.

Sort of, see below. It's not an LE (IE, not stickered) but it apparently has a production cap of 5000. Less than 1200 remain in the shop now. Those that are saying they're going to pick this up later, you may be picking it up at flipper prices if you wait!

At 5,000 pieces, is that about the same run size as a small-chain exclusive like boxlunch? I just read that there's 50 boxlunch locations which would give 100 pieces per store.

No problem! I did the same, was hoping to wait until next Wednesday and combine shipping but when I saw how quickly they were selling I decided it wasn't worth the risk! Plus who knows what they'll have next Wednesday, it may be something I don't want anyway (Freddy Rock Candy? )

Bugsy is my least favorite as well, but I still like it and will get it. I'm hoping it's smaller than the others, I think if it's little it might end up being cuter than the artwork looks.

Gotta agree there. If he's a hulking monster that'd be the only one I'd definitely pass on in this series.

Teeny tiny spots that are close together to resemble freckles, of course! =oP My very first dog was named Freckles because she had them all over her body. Probably not the proper definition for freckles, though.

I really really really really really hope I can get them all. I simply don't always have money in my account, it's just not the way it works when you live paycheck to paycheck, so I'll be pretty bummed if I can't swing it every time one appears. They are already twice the cost of a regular common, so trying to get someone else to get them means paying extra for shipping for them to ship to me, so I'm not even sure that is possible either. We shall see though, I'm just very onboard for these and can't wait to get Tumblebee!

This is going to be such a fun line to collect. It has it's own little charm and uniqueness. SO much possibility with the monsters. Already loving the variety of them so far. It's neat seeing how each individual monster appeals to everyone differently.

I think my favorite is Picklez, followed by Snuggle-Tooth and Butterhorn. If I get any, those are the three I would consider. The price + shipping kinda scares me off from buying any, especially with SDCC coming up, but I might still get one.

Dang it, this line is growing on me. I was hesitant on it when it was first teased. Then when I saw the Tumblebee pics, I had to ordered him.

Now this link?! Next to Disney, this is a strong second place.

It's interesting this line is breaking some styling norms by giving them visible, and some molded, mouths. Not a bad thing, cool to see the designers trying ways to push what still feels like a POP! Like Jessie Spano, "I'm so excited...I'm so scared."
