I'm pretty disappointed that this is what the Diamond Edition POPs are going to be..

I was hoping something more congruent to the Deluxe line that Star Wars has.
Or something more expensive looking.. I don't hate her, but I'm hugely disappointed that it's basically what customizers have done for probably years.

They could have done more, like take influence from all the Limited Edition Disney Dolls they the Disney Store does. Their outfits are just breathtaking and can actually be unique.
This just looks like a bad custom..

I think that's what gets me, when I'm on ebay I see a ton of these sequin/glittered/sparkly custom pops all over the place for a bunch of different characters so when I saw this its just funko officially licensing what has essentially been out for a while. That's why I don't think it wow'd me

I think the following characters have been hinted at:

Roger Rabbit (set of 4). I believe the line-up was announced at some point, but I've forgotten
Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Objects
Aurora
Aladdin
Robin Hood
Lion King (Simba, Timon, Pumba, and Rafiki)

A while ago, they posted on either facebook or twitter that there were no plans for future Muppets yet, but I've also heard rumors that there would be a second set around the time of the new movie.

I have also been dying to hear more on these.

Are they doing a Genie or Abu ?

I'd be sucked in by Rapunzel or Snow White because I love them and would have a hard time saying no. But I think my one I would really really really love would be a Genie because unless I set aside a large chunk of money and don't get any other POP's or unnecessary items I won't ever have him as a POP.

I think this is similar to the higher end nail polish that has glitter mixed in, as opposed to the glitter that's sprinkled or clumped on, like the "error" Ariel that came out last year.

I think the diamond collection will be nice. You also have to realize that the pictures were taken from periscope that does not always have the clearest of pictures.( especially hot topics signal strength). Even if it is just glitter covering the princesses or other Disney characters it's something different. Which I think is always cool when a company tries to do that. I hope I don't sound bad. Anyways, I can't wait to see what belle looks like up close. I know I'm going to be buying the line anyways - Disney, glitter. I'm sold

Not gonna lie, i was hoping that the Mulan would have been Ping in action pose, and I thought the Jasmine preorder at Gamestop said Red Dress. Kinda sad that blue dress Aurora is a chase, but that is my number 1. I like the Merida but was hoping for her regal dress tearing at seems as she aims her bow.

Chases aren't very expensive if you wait a little. She will be pricey at first but eventually will settle down as all these 1:6 chases do (unless their retailer). I'm sure you'll get her eventually may just have to pay a little more. If you want all the princesses you can find some good priced chase bundles that have blue Aurora.

This would be the first chase that if it came through my store when I was working in the back, I'd actually think about hiding it. I hate that. It's so low but damn do I really want this chase.

I doubt we'll see it but I'm going to be hunting for it too.
