Common Pops that turned into Grails?

I have the Kiss set, but have noticed Gene Simmons price skyrocket on PPG. Why him and not the others? Someone must like him alot.

Maybe because he's the Lead Singer.

He is the bassist and Ace is the main singer. He is just the most memorable.

Gene SImmons or Paul Stanley, you choose who is the lead in your world. In no world is Ace Frehly, who hasn't been in the band for a long time is the lead. Gene has the biggest personality, hence his value.

Rex from Toy Story was just an "add on" item on amazon for $6 a couple years ago. He's not grail status but worth $40 now, which is a lot more. Also, Neo from Matrix was one of those commons i thought would sit on store shelves forever (I just bought one cuz The Matrix is one of my fave movies), and now he's worth $45...not a huge amount but just for the fact that he was everywhere and no one seemed to want him.

Forgot one...SSGSS Goku from Hot Topic had what seemed like an endless amount in stores after they restocked, and those sat on shelves for months. He's not worth a lot but for a new collector having to pay 3x retail kinda sucks when it was so easy to get when it came out.

For me - I would have to say that Battle Deku is one and another one is Shiva from walking dead. I just purchased it because it was my ABSOLUTE favorite character from the Walking Dead and I really liked the way the POP! was designed. I was surprised to see that the value had shot so high in the sky.

I don't have many, but pop like Octavia/Bellamy are definitely two that are going up in value. Also Trafalgar Law is kind of exploding right now.

the universal monster set. Bought them when a FYE was going out of buisness for about 6 bucks a pop. Whole collection is now worth around 220.00

I never was into POP! when Elvis was a thing but I'm almost certain that I would have obtained Elvis if I Seen him on the shelf.
