Hot Topic Disney Diamond Collection (14th in the series is Evil Queen)

Got them all so far. Here are my thoughts on them so far.

Belle - Was nicely done, simple glitter on the dress only which didn't overwhelm the pop and it looked good.

Ursula - They tried way too much with this one and it came out bad. Don't know why they thought it was necessary to completely cover her with glitter. I remember seeing like 20 boxes at Hot Topic where every pop had glitter in different places. Red glitter from her lipstick spilled over her teeth, huge spots of no glitter, just a disaster. I got one that wasn't bad but still have some spots where the glitter was missing. They should've been selective and just put glitter on her crown, staff and maybe her dress and tentacles instead of tried to put it all over her face and hair.

Dumbo - The best one yet. They really did a good job with this one and it looked like the quality control was a lot better than the previous Ursula. The glitter looks clean, no glitter missing anywhere. Really happy with this one and the mold they used is just a really good looking pop.

Snow White looks really good as well. Was kinda hoping they'd just glitter the dress like Belle but they went with the Hair too, so I hope it comes out clean and not clumpy like some of the Ursulas did.

Overall I've enjoyed the line so far and I'm interested to see what other pops they release. I know some people don't like the fact they are reusing old molds and I personally would've liked to see new ones as well but luckily for me I don't have the regular versions of Belle and Dumbo so there are in fact news pops for me.

Some pops I'd like to see get the diamond collection treatment would be Tinkerbell, Maleficent & Genie. Think their molds and color schemes would look great glittered.

All of the Belle pops I saw had glittered hair like the upcoming Snow White - does yours not have glitter?

You know what, mine does. It just doesn't stand out so I never really noticed it. Had to look at it with a light to really see it. So I guess they all are gonna have hair glittered then.

I just couldn't get myself to purchase ursula. I wasn't going to get any of these when I saw the glams and the nerdette stuff, but these are definitely ones you need to see in person to get a feel for how they really look. I loved the dumbo one. It will go well with my disney treasures dumbo.

Pretty much spot on, I looked at about 10 Ursula’s and never was impressed. But I am a completionist, so bought the best looking one.

I'm torn on these. When I've seen some in stores, I haven't been impressed with the glitter lay on the first two - most I've seen in person have been patchy and look poorly done. Although I saw the newest Dumbo and Snow White and I think they look a lot better. I haven't gotten any yet, but depending on what they continue to make, I may have to hop on the diamond train

Oh, my! Diamond Snow White would go great with the other Snow White Pops I plan on getting.

Cayla and I have picked up all of them and our feelings mirror most everyone else's here- they all look awesome except Ursula, they should not have put glitter on her face. What a bizarre decision that was. And yet, her eye shadow has none. They should have left her face and done glitter on her eye shadow. we still got her though, because despite not looking as good as the others she's still pretty cool.

Also, these are not good to order online. As others have commented, the glitter application varies widely from Pop to Pop, from "great" to "really bad". Our store has been good about stocking a lot of these when they come out, so we go there and go through and pick out the best ones.

4 - Ursula

Here, Belle came. She looks good, but Im not hot on Belle so I passed. Then Ursula. I was so upset at this one, such bad quality. Our HT still has tons of her and Belle. Then Dumbo came, sold out same day. Just beautiful, well suited to the glitter glam. So I popped in HT tonight and got all the SW except Sneezy and the Witch. I chose common SW over glitter SW. The glitter treatment was pretty good, but I just couldnt get past the hair. SW hair HAS to be jet black. Her hair IS black underneath, but the silvery glitter makes her look 110 years old.

The Tinkerbell looks terrible to me. D: The only one that was even good was Dumbo. More animal glitters! Marie would be so cute in glitter. Or some Winnie the Pooh, even.

Ditto on the Genie! I'm gonna pass on the Tink since I never liked her. Ursula is still a no for me and I was going to maybe get her eventually, but it seems like no HT stores have anymore in stock of her, hm... so no.
