well regardless of how it actually pans out the run on these can't be small. Once the hype settles it should be obtainable at a reasonable price.

I'm hoping there is some way they can cross check without running afoul of some confidentiality rule. Like others have said, I don't expect anything, but I really hope flippers don't end up with these. I've said from the beginning it was going to be interesting to see how many of these end up on ebay and I just fear that this method will result in a TON on ebay. I guess that could potentially be good for those who want to buy one, but I wouldn't count on it. Unless there are a large number of these ultimately available, I suspect the secondary market is going to be pricey.

Great gesture by funko for sure, just hard to execute in a fair manner.

Even if 20,000 people sign up i think they'll be ok, i could have sworn ive seen 20,000 dr strange pops sitting on the shelves. maybe just give everyone one of those

I think it's very safe to say demand will exceed supply. Like everyone else I'm wondering how (if at all) they'll be able to check if you actually voted!

I think the whole thing is rather clever. With all the stink that was raised about confidentiality and so forth, this route requires individuals to voluntarily submit a request. Where it goes from there remains to be seen, but I'm willing to bet there's a way to cross-verify requests. Love it! Looking forward to August--and before that Fundays and Comic Con

Maybe by us giving them our name and email than the privacy of the voters list would be void because we are authorizing them to use our information. Well that's the last I will talk about this as I said before if I get one I get one if not I will have to buy it. But definitely will wait until the EBay hype price has died off a little. :freddy3:

Seeing Funko going through so much headache just to appease its collector community is quite humbling! Sounds like a nightmare to have to do when they absolutely don't have to be this generous!!

Hope all these folks clamouring for this understand how generous of gesture this is from Funko.

So what can those of us who didn't vote (wasn't around at the time) do to help you guys that did?

Should we stay out the way or all sign up just in case it is a purely random draw? That way we have the potential to block a flipper & sort someone out that enevitably doesn't get one? .. is that too complicated a scenario?

i think a good amount of flippers who didnt vote but want the pop will try. I just hope us who did vote get the freddy. Mines gonna go on my wall of never trade or sell ^^

Yes I seen some of those posts on Facebook. A few even said I didn't vote but I spend enough $money$ on Funko. And I didn't vote but still going to sign up for the free Freddy. So looks like it's going to be a free for all!

Even if people did only get them through voting, there will still be a bunch on eBay either way. There's a lot more flippers on this forum or in the Funko fan community than most would think. It's been getting real easy to spot them in a FB group I'm in.

High praise for all of the people expecting nothing and love the company either way.

This is why I love funko. Brian and the rest of the team value us as fans and go WAY above and beyond to show appreciation. I really hope I get one since I did vote, but even if I don't I am still excited that this is happening. I hope karma works against most of the flippers.

I remember voting, but I don't remember if we were asked to enter our email addresses. If not, I am unsure how Funko would be able to identify the voters. I really hope I voted for funko pop and not funko dorboz unless they just care that you voted for funko period. I know I voted for funko everything that I could.

If you want more freddys you should check out their funko shop site. There was a period of time a year ago or so when they released a lot of freddys like freddy robot, freddy astronaut, freddy super hero, nerd freddy, and so on. They also released a freddy during holiday season last year.

It is a big weakness for me as well. I am so sad I missed out on the robot and astronaut one with the flag. Robto freddy is so expensive on Amazon right now. Depending on my luck or maybe lack of luck at comic con starting tomorrow, I might get astronaut freddy with flag off ebay.

I couldn't remember if I voted or not and there was no way to check and make sure. Because of this, I didn't even put my name into the hat for this pop. I didn't think it would be fair.
