I'm definitely going to get on board with these Funko Monsters. I'm curious as to the frequency these will be released. I didn't pull the trigger on Tumblebee this morning, but I'll definitely pick him up in another order from the Funko Shop.

I loooove bats. I definitely want that little guy. And that blue bunny one is so cute with the little tooth sticking out. These are going to be a slippery slope.

I think the deer squirrel one might be a fave and then the minotaur. They are all adorbs though! I really regret not being greedy at ECCC and asking for both the Eleven card and the monster card at the artist signing

Brave or stupid, I don't know which! It initially said LE 5000 on the site, but that was later taken down. I may just bite the bullet and get it anyway today! LOL

Funkast talked about these a bit and basically said they hope they sell well so they can make more. Soo I'm thinking the 6 listed/shown are all that is out there right now and they'll see how they sell before making more. That's pure speculation on my part though.

Re: POP Monsters (Funko Original Line)
One of the best things I like about this line is there is basically no end to what they could do, since they are all original. I hope we eventually get creepy looking ones, or more beast like, and now have them ALL be cutesy. However, that said, if they do all end up cutesy, it really won't make much of a difference on whether I'll get them or not, I know I will. I just hope they aren't all Funko shop items, because I simply do not always have the funds to get items in the shop that goes fast that often. I do hope they sell well though, I would imagine original Pops like these and Spastiks are pure gold as far as profit since they don't have to fork over a portion to another company.

Well maybe these are the good monsters of Wetmore Forest, and the next round will be the evil monsters.

Good point, maybe they have something like that planned, either way I look forward to more Monsters.

Agreed! The possibilities are unlimited with this, including all kinds of different variants with colors and flocked, and definitely some 6" versions. I actually thought Tumblebee would be a 6". Plush is the logical next step with these, and I'd like to see them in Mega Plush too. Being a Dorbz freak, I'd definitely like to see Dorbz version of these as well....

From the looks of it, they want to show us the "good guys" of Wetmore Forest, and then depending on their success, they'll throw in some bad guys. The series is so clearly a homage to classic cartoons like Smurfs and Care Bears. I hope that we not only get Evil-looking creatures, but also super weird and abstract ones, too.

I must admit...I really wanted Tumblebee to be a 6 inch. But I still think the design is very cool and if I could I'd definitely buy him.

Tried to order Tumblebee and it didn't work for me.
So hopefully these get sold in Australia somehow and are not all exclusive to the Funko Shop, or if they are exclusive to the Funko Shop they allow people from Australia to buy them as I really want to get them.

Same here. I also thought Tumblebee would be a 6 inch. It just looks like it suits him better. If it wasn't going to be a 6 inch, I wasn't kind of hoping it would've been flocked. Regardless, I still bought one and plan to buy the rest when they are available.

Re: POP! Monsters (Funko Original Line)
Looking at some of the older posts in this thread, it's kinda funny to me that we all thought that the monsters would be vicious beasts and slimy ghouls, and the official designs are all cute and cuddly.
On a side-note, which one of the six current POP Monsters would you say is your favorite? Mine is definitely the Green Rabbit. He kinda reminds me of Taz from Looney Tunes, but I'm not sure why. Either way, definitely going to get that one as soon as he shows up on the Shop.

I'm definitely expecting something of some sort from this line to show up at the HQ opening. I was thinking something a bit more on the lines of color variations, but Flocked versions of these already stellar designs would be a cherry on the cake.

Just order it and have it shipped to a US friend and then the friend can ship it to you

The end of that blog post is a little confusing because first they make it sound like these will all appear in the shop. But then it says you never know where they will appear next.
