Got a whole load in today at the Walmart in Shrewsbury, MO. Grabbed one for myself and two more for fellow collectors. Left many!

Brickseek went from having about 5 Walmarts that were In stock, limited stock, or out of stock. It is now showing that the item is not even available in my area. Has anyone else had this happen? I hate to think I missed out on every opportunity, when some hadn't even populated their stock yet.

I wouldn't worry too much. I've seen similar funkiness with Brickseek. Try again hours later and you will probably get the original stores showing back on the search results.

Third Walmart, still no luck even with brickseek. However, I did grab a couple of Grinning Ultrons (boxes have some crinkles/messed up corners, but otherwise good shape), if anyone wants to trade for an Unmasked Poe or Kylo. I also grabbed a Jabba 3 pack (in great condition) if anyone wants it. PM if you're interested.

Yeah, I was originally going to go to the Walmart you mentioned, but I checked BrickSeek this morning before I left for work and that one said "Out of Stock" so I decided to head the other one. They must have stocked over night. Glad to see there is another collector in the area! This way we can keep each other in the know on exclusives and locations. FYI, not sure you collect it. But the Galleria HT got the flocked Cheshire Cat in today. I sent one of my employees over to get 2, one for my daughter and one for her. While she was there picking it up, another person came in a bought all the ones not on hold, so they sold out within the hour. F***ing flipper. But they're popping up in the area, so heads up.

It worked great for me. The problems probably lie more with your individual Walmarts than with Brickseek. Walmart scans merchandise in the back and are notorious for putting out stock whenever the hell they feel like it. And we all know Walmart's reputation for helpful employees, so if it's not on the floor (maybe even if it is) they probably aren't going to go out of their way to help you.

If it's showing in stock on Brickseek and you can't find them in the store, they are probably in the back on pallets waiting to be stocked.

Brickseek showed them being in stock around 9 this morning. I went to the store with the UPC and they told me they didn't have it, even after looking it up and the CPU saying they did. Went back a few hours later and the next employee told me they had them, but the guy that stocks the shelf isn't there until tonight, so they can't help me (like, can't you just go get them?!). Went back tonight, found the guy stocking the shelves in the toy dept, and he told me that he wasn't going to get all of the merch on the shelves tonight, so to check back in a few days. Yeah right ...

I waited for him to walk away and jacked the case right off the pallet myself. Walked a few aisles down, split the case open and grabbed what I wanted. Eff you, Walmart. I win.

exactly !! I have respect for retail employees (I was a retail employee once upon a time) but some are just a pain in the @ss, lazy or go out of their way to make things difficult. I would have done the same as Jhorsely !!

I can get one for you when I find them. I always try to get good boxes, but sometimes there aren't many. Are you an OOB collector or in-box collector??

I'm refreshing brick seek every 15 minutes just hoping to see in stock and then I'm gonna jam over there and get mine. Hopefully that happens soon

I found mine through Brickseek. Drove 30 minutes, and found them still in the box (of 6). Grabbed the box off the cart, tore it open and took the two I wanted. I don't have all night to wait around for them to put them on the shelves.

Checked three different Walmarts in the past two days even though brick seek said 0 in stock, just in case. Of course the third store I went in tonight had 4 unmasked Poe...which I finally bought on eBay in December because it never showed up here. I guess it's a good lesson in being patient for the unmasked Kylo.
