The glowy Pop goodness thread :-)

I have a Pop case with a string of UV LEDs, and then I also have some Pops sitting on my desk with a cheapo WM fluorescent black light in front of them. In both cases I just snap a pic with light on and then turn the light off, give the phone (iPhone) a moment to adjust and snap another pic. I don't get good color rendition with the UV lights on though, the colors look more washed out than they are.

My glowy pickups from this past weekend
He actually glows a lot greener than the picture shows and if you hold a flashlight to his head it lights up pink and then has a green spot on it
White lanterns Superman, Flash and Batman. Flash ends up being a bit of a Flash(light)

Coincidentally I took some of him under black light last night, I just haven't had time to post them yet. But I will say it's quite disappointing. His body glows bright white and his head doesn't glow at all. And with the lights out he's a very anemic glower compared to other glow Pops. I'll try to get the pics up soon.

May I ask how you took that great photo?

i used my Samsung Note 5 mobile phone. it has a Pro Camera Setting where i can use it like a dslr. so i set it up with 100 iso, 3 sec shutter speed, and use of a black light.

i did this one without the blacklight.

I think Chris said he took his pics after charging with regular incandescent lighting. I took mine after charging with a black light. Some of these Pops look completely different under black light than they do under regular light. Also I took my pics with other, stronger glowers in the pic, so that tends to make the weaker glowers "disappear". If you look at just Rowan by itself then it seems brighter, but when you group it with some strong glowers it looks weaker (if you have the white glow Marshmallow Man, Rowan is very similar to him in glow output).

You're very welcome I love this thread too, it's made me an even bigger fan of glowie Pops I'm hoping I can nab the Haunted Mansion exclusives and maybe a Duck Dodgers, if so I will be posting those but man my bank account is giving me dirty looks when I even mention it

Great photo!! Mine doesn't look glittery like that, was there more than one release of White Lady in the Philippines? There was the glow version and the blood-spattered glow version but that looks like something else.

Wow, that looks cool! It may just be a long exposure, but if they really do glow like that then I'm impressed! The darker colors usually don't glow very well.

I only know of 2 White Lady POPs being released and I've not seen one with any glitter... Both were very low editions as well with the regular being only 1 of 300 and the bloody chase being only 1of 88, so I would be sure the seller you purchased that through James has not sent you a custom or non-original lady

Actually there are a lot of White Lady stories that seem to be somewhat similar. But if Funko would do an North American version of this or even just a general worldwide one for their line, that'd be so cool!

Had to grab those Ponys! Fluttershy is by far the best looking, yellow like Kurama and looks great under UV because of her pink hair...she's even making Dr Manhattan look bad!

Fluttershy: A+ in UV B+ glow
Rainbow Dash: C- in UV B glow
Twilight Sparkle: C in UV D- glow (red fades fast)

Man, these look absolutely incredible. Of all the Asia line Pops, she's the one I'd love to have in my collection.

Also, no lie, Funko would make a KILLING if they released a "Legends, Creatures, and Myths" based on stories here in the States. I'm just picturing a Mothman Pop, Flocked Bigfoot, a bloody Hitchhiker with a hook for a hand...even go further and do something like a 6-inch Paul Bunyan or something of that nature. And why stop in America? This line could also cover stuff like Spring-Heeled Jack or Jack the Ripper!

I'm just...like...Funko, I don't typically buy an entire line of Pops, but THIS is a line I would buy every single one of.

Got the PX exclusive glowzilla today and he rocks!! He is actually completely molded in GITD vinyl and then painted, so the glow parts are the vinyl showing through, the non-glow parts are paint. My pictures aren't that great but he really does glow well! The pair of glowzillas look fantastic together They're kind of mirror opposites because the parts that glow on one are painted on the other.
