I don't know about grail; but Okoye is over 100 bucks but sat on funko shock for a while. Was pretty wild.

Agreed! Wish I had gotten the Jay & Bob pops when they were available. It wasn't that long ago that they were still for sale on jayandsilentbob.com. Anyway, I would love to see more pops from the View Askew films!

I know! I wish I could have gotten those too. At least Kevin Smith pop is back for sale on their site!

Yeah I got one and love it! It's my favorite Kevin Smith figure. I used to go the the Secret Stash West before it closed down. It was right near UCLA. Bryan Johnson was actually working there daily before Kevin decided to close it down.

Agreed! Bryan is so cool and Ming is just the best! I wish Walt would fly and go to more events but he did make the trip to SDCC a few years ago to do a signing at the DC booth. He was working on a Batman book back then so I got to meet him and have him sign my Mallrats poster, which is currently up to 19 signatures.

whoa that’s awesome, yeah walt is def a rare sighting at this point, since he just won’t travel (at least on a plane). i’ve been wanting to make it out to the secret stash someday to at least check it out once, but it’s a long ways away since i’m in california haha

I noticed the demand in local FB group and how the price went up so I bought some from an online seller for a retail price. Now the demand is very high.

I got Sam for around 37$. Not a retail price but his value went crazy so It was a damn good deal. Now he's over 100. Same as Capt Spalding.

The Sharknado and Dracula Pops I got in my Lootcrate/Horror Blocks have gotten pretty pricy. That being said, I have no clue if they were ever commons, I wasn't a Pop guy back then.

For the older series that were vaulted there weren't as many figures made like we have now I reckon. Hence harder to find!

My Bloody Glenn jumped so quick, of course after he was killed off, but my mere 50$ pop that I bought for 35$ ended up being in the 100's! That was nuts seeing that!

Just the other day I decided to put Pop protectors on my original three cereal monsters, they were hiding back behind some others. I think I bought all three from Gemini for about $35.

Deep Space Suit Iron Man.Got him at gamestop for nromal price when he came out. $85 now on PPG. The white and gold armor was a pleasant break from the usual red and gold.

I've always been so surprised that Hobgoblin is so valuable! It's just a slight retool and repaint that isn't even accurate to the character, but people are very willing to pa over $100 for him!

The Year One Box that he came in was $125, so arguably $100+ is just cost.

That makes sense. I have been priced out of so many things (currently the Fundays blue pez) because I thought I would wait and it would come down and instead it goes the other way!

I havent been collecting long, but my grail is Heavy Metal's Taarna. I also dont associate price with something being a grail piece. Its just something I would call a favourite, but I couldnt find her for under 50 bucks then.

Hobgoblin is so expensive because it cost over a hundred to buy the year one funko box. Included in the box was captain America Hikari, two dorbz and a groot hat. So when people sold their Hobgoblin their wanted to try to get back some of the money they invested. I still have everything in my box. For the price of the year one box, I am guessing collectors would have rather recieved more funko pops then the hikari and dorbz.
