In all seriousness, I am in love with these. The "Who shot first" pack and the trash compactor pack are must haves for me. I would also love a Mace Windu vs. Sideous pack, an Obi Wan vs Grevious pack, an Obi Wan vs Maul pack and a multitude of Doctor Who packs.

And if they could do something with Thrawn, I would freak out!

Why settle on 2? Duel of the Fates 3 pack, please!

Hey guys, I managed to detach the Obi-Wan & Darth Vader Pops from the Star Wars 'Death Star Duel' movie moments base, so thought I’d let you know that it is possible. This is aimed at the out of the box folks who wanted them individually in your collection.

My brother wanted an Alec Guinness Obi-Wan Pop but I wasn’t really impressed with the current sculpts until the movie moments version came along. This one looked perfect but was so disappointed to learn that the pops weren’t detachable from the base (which I think they should be) but thought I’d still buy it and try to remove it myself… somehow.

Anyway, I began moving the pops back and forth gently to see what give they had (if any). I could see one of the feet was partially glued and from that could just make out a peg under the middle of that foot, thus began chiseling away at the glue with a flat headed screwdriver (you may have something better at hand). When the glue became too tough to break down I used a hairdryer on the feet for roughly a minute so that area became softer. I prised one foot up cautiously, gently moving the screwdriver along to break away any glue. I thought yep, that should do it, but nope, it still wouldn’t lift off so used the hairdryer again as I suspected the pegs may be internally glued, and they were, slightly. I then wiggled the figure and off it came! Success! But it was mostly relief that I didn’t snap the pop lol.

As you chisel away (if you don’t have the flattest screwdriver) you may end up cutting along the base of the shoe ever so slightly (as you can see the remains on the base) but both pops stand really well.
I’ve attached pictures so you can see what to expect and where the pegs are positioned. This may be possible for other movie moment pops too – though I’d only bother if the figure looks like it could actually stand when detached (unlike Han vs Greedo & Luke & Leia). Do this at your own risk but thought I'd share this to show that it is definitely possible. ;-)
