SO. I popped in to HT today as they had Scorpion come in yesterday, according to Hot Topic Holyoke Mall Facebook post. He has been on my (their) computer list since announced. I was in about noon, all gone. I asked why you didnt call me, save me one, WHY? Apparently a new HT policy. DONT answer any questions on the phone. DONT call anyone. DONT hold ANYTHING for ANYONE. PERIOD. I know this is Shenron post, but Im getting there. So I said, great you screwed me on Scorpion what about Shenron that I REALLLLLY wanted? Their reply was to be at the store opening at 10am, thats the ONLY way I will know what is for sale! I guess Im never going to have this golden beauty, Im not driving in every day to see or see not what they have. HT is going to lose a massive amount of $$$ just from me! Anyone else hear of this crap policy?

Yes that's the new company wide policy, post on social media the night before or morning of before opening, no holds, one chase per customer, almost all HT are implementing them, not sure about the answering question part but everything else is accurate

The mold itself is probably one of the best Funko has released to date.

For real, this mold alone makes it a surefire winner of 2017's Pop of the Year award. (With D.Va and NYCC Scrooge McDuck impossibly close behind) Between the base, the inclusion of the DragonBalls themselves, and the twisting, towering design, it's one of the most impressive sculpts Funko's ever made.

Also, yeah, I completely missed out on this guy, which is a huge bummer because the original green variant is going for crazy money these days

The green version is only going for like $30-35. Not so crazy, but it'll go up!

I got mine today. I got in an hour after they opened without any expectations. I was stoked that they had about 4 left. Didn't have to wait in line or wake up extra early. It looks good in person and has a bit of a heft to the figure. Nicely done funko!

My local HT said they got 72 of these and they sold out the first three hours. When I stopped by the end of the day they got a shipment of 6 more thankfully Definitely happy I got one it looks amazing.

Funny story I was given a gift card and a couple of $5 certs and I left it in my pocket. But today when I saw a post for the shenron I rushed out without them and realized I didn't have it until I was getting ready to pay, haha I guess that's life, at least I got the shenron!!! Haha yay!!!

Dang, we were there helping a friend out who was working since we don't collect DBZ. Some guys were there at 6am, and they grab a total of 10 between the two. They do help out local collectors too though!

We need to have a team of people who are down to do that in our pop community because right now people where I'm at aren't really collecting the pops for the pleasure more for the profit, so if we had a group of people who went early and scoop some for the real collectors then just pay them back for it you know

My friend picked up one for me, he got them for 18.50 and I see people selling them for 55 online. I really hate when people buy them all up just to sell them, I am a collector so normally I try to buy 2 just in case a friend can't find it.

Our HT just got them in Wed. afternoon. So I went and picked up R2-D2 this morning and shocked to find at least 15 Shenron's. I grabbed two, one for in box, and one to take out. I get to the register and dude says " you know these are buy 2 get one free?" So hot damn I got 3 now when I thought I was doomed for ebay! I absolutely LOVE the gold. It is not crummy colored. If you have ever seen real Asian or Oriental gold, thats it. A darker, rich colored gold.

So, I had ordered a Kevin Smith Pop Tee a little late (in an XS because I wanted it so badly I didn't care about the size). Well, that order got cancelled, and they sent me a $10 gift card. I was looking around the site today, and saw that not only was the shirt available again, but in my size! So I ordered it and a couple of other things, and applied the $10 gift card. Sweet revenge!!!
