What an exciting morning! Already back to work after standing in line at HT for half an hour. Got my haul and then hauled butt back to work. :freddy2:

(That's me, hauling butt.)

I didn't know what to expect since this is my first year waiting for SDCC exclusives. There was only about 7 of us in line but I noticed the first two guys grabbed everything, mostly all the Powerpuff Girls. Whattaya know, we have flippers in town. But the guy in front of me and I struck up a conversation and talked for like 45 minutes about Pops. When we got to the stand, he started handing me the ones I said that I wanted most. So nice of him. Then I helped another guy with Goku (Goku was at the back of the store). We were all just so friendly and helping each other out. It was just a pleasant experience, for my first.

I got what I wanted, BB-8 and b&w Deadpool. Also got the Harley Quinn Rock Candy. Just couldn't resist her. Also picked up SSGSS Goku for Q. And P will love the BB-8 and Deadpool. They will be so surprised at Christmas! I'm going to post pics in the Dance Hall.

Thanks for the tip. I got the Scott Pilgrim set. At least I got something today since I can't really get anywhere today and B&N's site won't let me pay. The set was one of my if I manage to be online at the right time, I'll get it items.

Thanks! Glad you were able to get a set. They weren't on the main page but I found link and shows they're out of stock...which is probably why I couldn't see them on main page.

It has been pretty exciting

It's my first year too, I could only get the Amazon exclusives but it's fun seeing everyone out on the hunt, tracking them down and also seeing others be really nice and try and get POPs for those who can't, thats awesome =D>

I'm glad you got what you wanted, the BB8 and Deadpool are two of the best this year, ones I wanted as well. Congrat

Got almost everything I wanted either in store or online. Only exceptions are the two amazon exclusives, Scott pilgrim 3 pack, Marcus, and green goblin (anyone see this online yet?). Here's hoping my online orders go thru because there were no mags, Han with bowcaster or Dr strange in store.

I really hope everyone can get what they want! Really happy with the way my stores handled the releases! Just waiting for Doctor Strange and Marcus Fenix, then my SDCC list will be complete! Goodluck to everyone!

So I'm on my way to go pop hunting and was feeling minorly discouraged cause I'm heading out so late. By I stopped by my mailbox to find my Ghostbusters Holtzmann print arrived! Tanq has sent me another gift upon this day!! Praise be to Tanq!! My spirit has been revitalized!! lol

I don't know what it is, but does anyone else feel like this year is already going a bit smoother than last year? Yeah, we've all lost quite a bit of sleep and we've had our fair share of disappointments, but I remember getting next to NOTHING on release day last year, and having to hunt for days after just to secure something as simple as Unmasked Cap or Crystal Blue Heisenberg. I feel like it took me forever to finish my list last year (I needed that Frying Pan Rapunzel, and don't get me started on how chaotic it was to snag Flocked Wolf Man), but this year I'm almost done already lol

I agree 100%, this release was as smooth as could be. Other than the fact that Gamestops everywhere didn't get Doctor Strange and Marcus Fenix in on time apparently.. But other than that, I am VERY happy the way this has gone so far!

My GS had lots of Superman this morning. The only ones they didn't get in was Dr. Strange and Stan Lee Dorbz.

Tried to pay for my B&N order again and Newt is no longer in stock. I figured he and the HP stuff would be like last year's flocked Snuffleupagus, but I had to try.

This is probably a stupid question (meaning that no one probably knows the answer), but is it possible that there may be restocks of these exclusives? The nearest FYE is about 30 miles from where I work, so I was not able to get there to see if they had the Sex Bo-bomb three pack.

Guys, keep checking your Gamestops. I can CONFIRM Dr. Strange is in the wild. My buddy in New York just picked up one for me near Attica. They've had them since opening today.

Just went to the Barnes and Nobles here in Manchester NH and they have about a dozen each of the single Pops and 3 of the Harry Potter 3 packs. They also have 5 mystery boxes as well as some other SDCC exclusives that aren't from Funko.

With the purchase of the Potter 3 pack and Newt Scamander, that's a clean sweep for me. Barbossa, Underwater Batman, Rock Candy Harley and Catwoman, False God Superman and Doomsday are all heading my way....

Went to Hottopic this morning. Arrived about 30 min before opening and I was the fifth person waiting inline . The HT employee opened the door and everyone was pushing and acting like animals, I couldn't believe it. People were grabbing five of each it was crazy. I was lucky enough to grab the last Grodd (which was the last of about 20).

Walked downstairs to GameStop where nobody was waiting and picked up doomsday. Apparently NY didn't get any Han Solo or Dr. Stranges in stock so a lot of people left disappointed.

All in all I got 3 out of the 4 I wanted ( no dr. strange). Hopefully I can grab a Goblin tomorrow (probably not though).

Still can't believe how people were acting at hottopic.
