Funko mentioned the possibility of a second wave of LA BatB on this week's Twitter Q&A. Personally I'm burnt out on LA BatB from Funko and retailers in general. Seeing as how successful the film has been in the box office I can see why they would want to make a second wave. There just has been so much merch released for this film though. IMO too much. I'd rather see more done for the animated film, like Belle in her green dress or Philippe. I'd also rather see a second wave for Moana. There are a lot of characters that could still be made, some of which I'm sure were not included in wave 1 to avoid spoilers. Wave 1 was too heavy on Moana herself. I would most love to see Te Fiti, Te Kā, and Tamatoa made. All three of these have great designs.

I think I agree about LA Beauty and the Beast, I absolutely adored the movie, but I am not going to be replacing my animated movie collectibles with the Live Action versions. I'm fine with the apparel that has been released, and probably the wave 1 figures from funko, but I do feel like they may have done too much when you look at all their lines (did we really need 4-5 versions of Belle?).

Personally I would prefer they spend a little more energy on classics that they haven't touched yet like Hunchback, Hercules, Tarzan, Emperor's New Groove, etc

I would also in general maybe like to see about no more than the number of pops we got last year in the Disney line each year, it seems like last year we got about 80+ whereas the first 60 were released over the course of 2+ years

The only thing I'd want from the live action BATB line is Gaston. As much as I liked the designs for the servants, having them as Pops in their human forms would be a lot. If they wanted to do them as minis, I'd be happy with that though since they were really nice designs.

On that note, I'd also like some of the other animated movies to get some love. Even if it's some redone Pops for older versions like a new Peter Pan and Hook or something.

No efents to you guys but I'm not into the live versions of any of the cartoon Disney movies so I wouldn't want to see anymore of them. I want to see more with Princess Aurora and the rest from Sleeping Beauty

If anything gets made from the Live Action Beauty and the Beast, it just needs to be the rose in the glass dome. Ever since EE posted that picture before they released the Dorbz has me wanting it even worse. lol

. I'll take all the Disney I can get, but I do agree more Moana would be awesome. Too many great characters didn't get made. I'm sure Funko is working extra hard to get as many characters as they can made. They are in the money making business after all!

Emperor's New Groove would make me the happiest person ever. I love that movie so much.

I'll be the odd one out, and say I'd love more live action B&tB pops! The one funko collection I need to be 100% on, and I've loved each variant that has come out so far. We need a Gaston, wouldn't mind a Plumette and a Garderobe (the minis came out well, I'd imagine the pops would look similar). I think the animated version needs a Philippe too (like Maximus from Tangled). And there are some townspeople that would make really interesting pops - like maybe a multi pack of the triplets (either version), the baker, the hairdresser, or the wash woman. And they could technically do two versions of Gaston, since he has his regular outfit vs his military outfit.

I'd like Gaston, but that's it. There is way too many Pops for this movie. Celebration, Candlestick, Winter, and the Garderobe Belle pops were literally unneeded, and were in the movie for so little time that I couldn't believe Funko made merchandise of Belle in those outfits. Compare BATB to Cinderella, Maleficent, and even POTC. Cinderella got three pops including one exclusive. Maleficent got four pops including two exclusives. POTC got six including two exclusives. And then there's BATB. They got eleven pops including five exclusives. A little ridiculous and unneeded in my opinion.

A three pack of the Gaston girls from the animated version would be amazing. Imagine having Gaston with the three of them flanking him lol

Honestly I'd like some more Pocahontas and Lilo & Stitch Pops. Where's my Kocoum Pop??? And I can't wait to see what comes from the new movie, Coco!

I'd like to see Hunchback, Hercules and more Moana POPS before more live-action Beauty and the Beast POPS, but, I'd still not mind Gaston and LeFou getting made. They'd be the only characters I'd buy. And I thought the movie was enjoyable!

so I'm curious, with the reveal of the HT exclusive Peter Pan, does anybody else think there may be more Peter Pan character coming soon that they haven't teased yet? The timing of Peter at HT and Smee in the sub box can't be a coincidence.

Also, would anyone else prefer if they would focus on making new characters instead of new molds of old ones?

While I like some of the new molds better, I personally would rather see new characters especially since there are still a ton that should be made.

I could argue both ways, new characters are great, but some of the old characters are well over $100 and are pretty unobtainable for a lot of people. A new mold of those characters are like getting a whole new character because I can actually afford to buy them. I think they should do a mix of new molds for old characters and then new characters as well.

I'd like them to do a mix as well. I missed out on pretty much all of the older Disney Pops and many of them are out of my price range, so Funko doing these new molds is great for me. I'd like them to revisit a lot of their older Pops and do some updating here and there. But I'd also like to see some new characters made too. Hopefully with Peter Pan we could see the Darlings and Tiger Lily or something, along with Tick Tock.

I would prefer they prioritize unmade charcters first, but I also understand that some of the expensive, vaulted pops are among the more popular Disney characters. It's just that it gets sad seeing many versions of the same characters throughout different Funko lines but other characters left in the cold.

I know they are dorbz, but today they announced the Aladdin Dorbz series, so originally they did Jasmine and Abu as Walmart exclusives, now they announce Genie with Jafar genie chase, Rajah, and Jafar (limited to 4000 pieces), and yet still no Aladdin. Now personally I don't collect dorbz, I have a couple ridez but that is all, but I would have considered getting Aladdin, if only because there isn't a pop of him yet

Re-releasing vaulted characters makes good business sense if they are now deciding to extend lines.

I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't be interested in buying the Disney Treasures box with the Smee Pop if they're unable to get Peter Pan or Hook to go with him.

People wouldn't have been keen to buy Eeyore, Roo and Piglet if they couldn't afford a Winnie to go with them.

And I know a lot of people held off (myself included) on the first new wave of Power Rangers until the new versions of the Red, Pink and White rangers were announced.

Thanks! I wish they would make more also. Guido and Mack would be great. I know that there will be plenty of Cars 3 merchandise but was hoping for more Pops and a set of minis.
