Infinity War POP! Discussion

There will be keychains and they are AMAZING! @funkofinderz on Instagram has pics and vids of a lot of he POPs and the Keychains.

Quality, not quantity. I'm afraid there will just be a crazy amount of exclusives and variants of each character. Complete overkill and lazy variants at that. Hopefully I'm wrong, but this seems to be the marvel funko trend...

These were my most anticipated Pops of the year, but I just think they look kinda lifeless.

And that Cap doesn't look nearly as good as a lot of the customs I've seen. I think they're basing his look in the merchandise off of early concept art where he has short hair. Just look at the new Marvel Legends cap, same hair color and length.

However I am still excited to pick up a few of them! Can't wait to actually see em in person.

Civil War which is the biggest marvel line I think, had a huge amount of pops. I count 22 total. It gave us 6 new characters, 15 new sculpts, 1 being borderline is Walmart black panther who had a textured sculpt. 8 of the 22 were exclusives (not including the repacks)

I what am I trying to say, there were no "lazy" repaints. I would agree we could have done without 1 of the crossbones but he looks pretty awesome when you have all 3 together. These are big movies with a lot of characters, it's not overkill. Don't want repeat characters even though sculpts are new? You can pass on them.

My wallet is gonna be really hurting when all of the infinity war pieces come. I wonder if they will release them in waves.

I certainly hope so, both for budgeting purposes, and what this is going to do to the shelves at the stores! (Imagines entire aisle, both sides, just Funko pops...) :eek:

I'm seriously drooling over the pics posted today - both pops and keychains! And I know this is just the beginning....must have all the Iron Mans, Caps, and probably the Spideys!

There is. People who found the Pops in stores today showed the back, which had a Hulkbuster on there.

I’m excited for this series. I wasn’t really planning on getting any other than the 10in Thanos but it looks like I’ll be adding Groot to my list after seeing pictures.

Hella Excited for this line, I know a lot of people already have a lot of these characters and are saying the sculpts on these are bad but the Paint Jobs on them are gunna be outstanding! Can’t wait for Thanos with the Gauntlet!!! I was also told these will be released in March!

Anyone else tend to watch movie trailers and figure out which ones will end up as pops.....watching infinity war trailers be like: "Oh that will probably be an exclusive!"

Really hope we get better molds feel like with civil war...black panther...Thor and all the movies marvel related seem to have very similar molds. I just hope they start to really push the bar with more of the designs

I don’t have any keychains except ones from sub boxes, but this one is a must have. Maybe multiple for when it wears out.

I have a few the only thing that sucks about them is that that the heads end up falling off from the body which don't last very long especially with marvel being bobble heads it's even worst

I also think they probably should have named this iron Spider-Man. It might get confused with the Walgreens set iron spider.
