I like the idea of Funko making their own line of figures. It gives them more creative freedom to make really awesome Pops. :)

I was wondering when I first heard about this whether or not they'll be making some kind of show to promote these characters...I remember in the 80's GI Joe, Transformers and He-Man cartoons were basically commercials for the toy line. I think I'd like to see this...

Somewhere deep in the heart of the Pacific Northwest,
not far from Funko's new headquarters on Wetmore Avenue,
there is a wooded glen known as Wetmore Forest.

Among the great mossy, bearded trees, shrouded in mist,
lives a mysterious furry band of critters that come in all
shapes and sizes, each with their own distinct personality.

They are called Pop! Monsters!

Keep an eye out for Pop! Monsters throughout Funko.com and Funko-Shop!

Ooooh yeah that would be cool! I got Balrog on Saturday and it blows my mind, it looks incredible! The detail on it is amazing. Kind of gives you the idea of what a cool "original" design they could come up with for a 6" monster.

Yeah that would be really awesome! Especially because so many Pops are derived from TV shows/ movies, it would be really cool to see it happen the other way around for once- a TV show or movie being derived from a Pop series!

I just hope they stick with the imaginary monster theme and don't do something to spoil it, like have some that are dressed in "people clothes", or wearing glasses or hats or something. That would just ruin it for me.

They definitely should do the fantasy type thing, I agree...we need more of that in the world today :D

Part of me wants them to trickle out because I've been spending too much lately and SDCC is coming up. But another part of me wants multiple so I don't have to pay multiple shippings lol
