Let's HOPE that 2 hours is enough time and you are at the head of the line....would be a shame if it was like ECCC where I waited 5 hours and didn't even make the Funko line :roflmao: :roflmao:

Oh, I'd be fuming.

I think 2 hours is good. I'll probably be the only one in line until like 8:30 or 9. It's usually just me and like 2 or 3 others when there's a specific HT release happening. Fingers crossed it's like that this time.

But anything can happen. Never experienced SDCC insanity before.

Would you suggest the same for the other retailers? This is my first year too. :D

Yes, that goes for other retailers as well. I am going to B&N first and will be there 30+ minutes early. I'm sure I won't be the first in line though.

Thanks for the tip! I'm only planning on hitting Barnes and Noble, and was planning to be at least fifteen minutes early, but I'll be going for thirty instead now. Thanks again!

Last year there were about 10 other people waiting in line besides us. When they opened the doors, everyone swarmed in and the POPs were right there at the front on a couple tables and everyone was snatching everything, piles and piles of POPs in their arms and all kinds of stuff. I expect it to be worse this year, actually. Seeing as there has been a popularity boom since last summer.

Oh yea, B&N gets the LEAST amount of each exclusive out of any retailer....at least that's how it was last year. So I would definitely be there early and make a bee line for the exclusives table when the doors open up.

I don't know how to say it without sounding like a jerk or very anti-social, but if I decide to go anywhere tomorrow in pursuit, I hope there is no one in line with me. Not because I'm worried about not getting what I want, but because it'll feel really awkward.

Nine times outta ten, someone else will be in line with you haha.

In my experience, it's not that bad. I'm an exceptionally introverted person, but I've always been able to make friends with the hunters in line with me. I remember I once spent all night waiting outside of Target for Amiibo, and the people I met there have been really good buddies of mine ever since.

Worse comes to worse, earbuds and an iPod work wonders too.

Does Barnes and Noble have a particular page on the website for the exclusive Pops?

You and me both. I'll feel awkward standing at the HT gate, wearing my office work clothes, all 42 years of me, looking like someone's grandma.

Last year there were probably 10 other people besides us in line outside of Hot Topic. The mall walkers would come by and ask what we were doing standing there. It wasn't too terrible, everyone just kind of kept to themselves. We will see what it's like tomorrow...hopefully the same.

I BELIEVE this page will be updated. Last year, it was similar to this and then it had a link to another page or something like that.

You are correct. They did have a separate page for it when stuff became available in the morning. I also remember it working better on their app (might have been their mobile site), but don't count on it.

Last year, the Chattanooga B&N didn't even realize there was going to be such a big deal about the SDCC exclusives and didn't even have them on the floor. They were giving them as equally out as possible, making sure everyone had at least something because of the crowd. I got there an hour early, and will be doing the same this year. I'm usually the first in line, but it sucks since there are two entrances.

I don't remember if they had the limit at B&N last year, but I know in 2014, when they first mentioned only two per customer, we were only allowed to buy two total. Not two of each. Which I think is okay.

The HT I went to also didn't even have their display up yet, and it was like Christmas. They opened one box at a time. The assuming manager was awesome enough to let everyone has at least one of the one they wanted, and once everyone had that one, then people could buy multiples. Hoping it's like that this year, too. But 5 of each sounds...crazy.

Funko didn't mention which one BAM will have.

Haha yeah, I am so introverted that the prospect of too much small talk stresses me out. On the contrary, I do want to talk to people but one-on-one conversation isn't my strong suit. However, I am going to go into it with a positive attitude and use it as a chance to grow some!

LOL, I'm a nerd and if anyone doesn't like it, they can keep on walking. Tomorrow is a Pop nerd holiday, so it's time to enjoy! I don't have enough time to worry about what other people think of what I like.

Yes, that goes for other retailers as well. I am going to B&N first and will be there 30+ minutes early. I'm sure I won't be the first in line though.
I'm just hoping that I don't have to sit in my car until the doors open. They didn't say anything about if the doors will be open that early.

Stand outside the door, otherwise it won't matter if you're there 5 hours early or 5 minutes early. Sitting in your car until the doors open at 9am or whatever defeats the purpose.

I just don't want to walk up to the door and pull on it for it to be locked.

Eh, no, guys, sorry. Rules have been said to be 2 total. I guess it will depend on what the online site lets you do. In-stores will only be 2 total.

I am so anxious for tomorrow morning! I'll be getting up around 6:30 so I can head to Hot Topic at 8:00, 90 minutes before it opens. Then after, hopefully, quickly getting all the exclusives I want, I'll run over to Gamestop and get in line there. Barnes and Noble will come after that, then FYE. I'm very nervous about things selling out, because for living in a small town, I was shocked to see five people line up for Handless Luke! If he can gather a small crowd, tomorrow will be nuts!! Luckily, now that I settled on the false hope that I'll get the Disney Store Indiana Jones over the soon to be wallet-buster for all Indy with Idol exclusive, the only exclusive that I want that isn't shared is Superman Conan, which I saved up for once he was announced! Wow! Tomorrow is the big day! Good luck to everyone, hopefully we all get what we want! :)

Last year my hot topic had SDCC pops leftover for daaaaaayyss. I didn't stop in until three days after they were first released. A month after the fact they STILL had the Castiel, Helena and C-3PO if I remember correctly. Yet here I am, nervous out of my mind for this year still even though I'm going day-of this year. I'm a mess! lol
