My first pop was several Disney ones and flocked Gizmo from SDCC in 2012. Back when you could just walk up to the Funko booth with no line.

My first pop was actually 3. I had a friend going to sdcc back in 2012. I had her pick me up 3 that I liked. They were metallic red hulk, metallic green alien, and metallic evil minion... I didn't buy any that whole year and when she went back in 2014 I had her pick me up a headless ned stark. So really my first 4 pops were art SDCC exclusives... never would I have imagined they would be worth what they are today.

I'm going to say maybe, only because I didn't go out of my way to get a pop. When I moved to my current location I had access to more shopping and more money. I was HUGE into mystery boxes for awhile. I used to get around 6+ every month, sometimes trying different ones. In hindsight I know I got a few in some of those boxes. However I didn't really realize what they were until about 6 months after the Loot Crate Joker-Batman Batman came out.

A buddy asked me if I had that and I did, in the lootcrate box filed away. He told me what it was, and that's how things started for me. I know by that time in a box I had a Captain America, and a regular Batman, and maybe one other, but I don't remember which is first, so I assume the Lootcrate one to be the first.

Was strolling through F.Y.E. a few years back and saw a Captain Spaulding on the shelf. It looked pretty sweet for the price so I figured, why not?

My first pops were Luke and Yoda bought at SDCC in 2013. I also bought Hannibal Lecter and Jaime Lannister. Funny to think how far I've come from that day!

I remember always looking at Pops in various stores and thinking "If I buy one of these, I know it will get out of control." I even told the wife it probably wasn't a good idea. Then, Christmas 2015 came along and she had bought me 4 Pops: Unmasked Vader, Doc Brown, Marty McFly and Harley Quinn. It was all downhill from there. .

My first pops are Toothless and Elvis Stitch. I went to Frank and Sons to check out the comics and trading cards without knowing what Funko is. Then I went to this booth (not knowing it was Animetasia)... I saw many figures in a box with Pop on the box. I started to scroll around the booth and starting to find them interesting. At the end, I decided to buy those two and that is how I really started my addiction with Funko!!

My first time ever buying a pop was at Comic Con 2016! Day 1, I was walking through a booth (can’t remember the name) and my first time seeing a rick and Morty pop. It was the first pop they ever made for Rick and Morty and it was pretty freaking cool! i had to buy these! I told my friends what i found they said hey why you don’t bring them to the signing for Rick and Morty! I was like! Holy smokes! thats a great idea. I remember camping out for it and making it my first priority to get that wrist band.

That morning, I rushed over and started the line for the signing and i saw what other people had for the cast to sign. Most of them were Funko pops others just had the free post card they handed out. I was thinking what I can do to make my pop different from everyone who would just have them sign the Funko box. So i quickly opened my first pop and just had Justin Roiland the voice of Rick and Morty , sign my Morty pop! He was like wow! Normally i sign the box but this is different! He wrote "i like turds" on Morty shirt on the front and on the back he signed his initials!

My first pop also became my most precious Rick and Morty collectible thanks to Funko!!

I hope i can collect all the Rick and Morty pops! Maybe even start getting into protos! :p

My first Pop was at the airport show in Philadelphia. I saw the Flashpoint Batman and noticed it was an exclusive to NYCC. I bought it for $10 and it was in my possession until 2014. My mom had passed away and I had been working in retail for 14 years. I had left my former job to work at a credit union but living paycheck to paycheck didn't leave me with much money for rent. I listed my Batman for .99 and watched it sell for nearly $400. It paid my rent that month. I'm happy that the Thomas Wayne Batman came out. I've been collecting since 2011 and currently I have 374 pops. Most are DC comics and DC tv shows with a few animated television pops and Stranger Things.

My first Pop was the StormTrooper Conan. My wife and I took a vacation to SDCC. We won tickets to a taping of Conan and were given the StormTrooper on our way out. We thought it was a cute little souvineer which led to me trying to get the other Conans, which then led me to looking at other pop lines. The rest is history
