My HT had Daryl and Carl the day before yesterday. No Negan yet.

I ordered Rosita, Jesus and Carl from their site so they should be here in a few days.

I was thinking about the Shane Pop and I think it could have looked more like him if they went with this look:

Image

Visible necklace would be best. Would work especially well with Sheriff Rick, and perhaps the first Glenn, if you happen to own him.

But yeah, I don't think I ever thought about how hard he'd be to capture. Andrea, Dale and Beth should be way easier. Lori I'm not so sure.

(and yeah, I noticed the conversation has moved on from Shane, but I don't visit the board a lot anymore and I haven't really kept up with the NYCC Exclusives. I know, criminal ;-) and naturally my input is of great value
Spoiler: show
Image
)

Anyway, it will probably be a while before the new wave arrives here. I'm not really a TWD collector (I just love to meddle, mostly), but I feel like I need the Negan. Even though he will most likely kill one of my 3 faves. His whole speech last season just got me "liking him". I'll wait and see how I feel about him after he brutally murders (just my prediction) Glenn. I expect conflicted feelings.

Look who came today :D

Rosita has a serious case of looking at the ground so I had to put the hairdryer to her neck and bend it back a little. I guess it adds character but she is a very cute Pop otherwise.

I prefer collecting the Walking Dead pops than watching the show, the show is a bit too brutal for me now I've stopped watching now because they just kill off characters for shock value rather than what actually makes sense for the story and the plot moving forward.

When are Fear the Walking Dead pops coming?, is that show really awful because I never hear anyone mention it online ever.

I tried watching it. I actually gave it a legitimate chance, too. I made it through season 1 and got about 3 or 4 episodes into season 2. It started to become a chore to watch. In fact, it seemed more like I watched it just to clear up space on the DVR instead of because I wanted to watch it. Then, about halfway through an episode, I just hit stop, deleted the episode and went in and deleted the DVR timer.

It wasn't as horrible as what I've heard a lot of people say, in my opinion. But it wasn't good either. Not something I wanted to waste any more time on.

I watch fear and actually almost stopped twice the second half of season 2 and came back cause my neighbor wanted to watch it.

There are action figures of Travis and Madison but no pops.

I apologize for thinking someone earlier confused Gabriel with Jesus. I didn't even remember they came out with a Gabriel

Did anyone else think they held off on the Carl variant because they were planning on

Did anyone else laugh during the Glenn scene? i feel bad for even saying this but I thought it was hilarious seeing him there with his bulging eye trying to stammer something out. Before you think I'm some bloodthirsty crazed weirdo the whole show just did not have a realistic vibe for me, it was too far-fetched to be believable.

I may be the only person in the world that hates Rick and likes Negan. But think of it this way, what if Negan's group had snuck into Rick's camp and killed half his people, and Rick later captured some of Negan's people and lined them up with a bat in his hand. Everyone would be cheering for Rick to bash some skulls in, right? Rick ordered his group to sneak into a facility and kill dozens of Negan's people in their sleep, in cold blood. Not at all surprised Negan decided to exact a little revenge, not sure why everyone thinks he's the bad guy lol

It's not awful, but it is kind of "Walking Dead Lite". In my opinion it's a lot heavier on drama and lighter on action than WD. That said, I do enjoy it and have watched every ep. Would I buy Pops of the characters? I doubt it, so far none of them are really that memorable. I'm always down for a good zombie Pop though :D

I found Fear the Walking Dead tedious for the first season and a half, but now that they've trimmed away some of the more annoying characters and adjusted the attitudes of the rest, I'm looking forward to where it goes.

I was thinking the exact same thing. It's the reason why he called Carl a "future serial killer" like his dad. That being said, I'm still p*** off at Negan cuz I'm team Rick. I hope they do have an eye bulging bloody variant or a bloody two pack lined up.

Technically Negan's people struck first when they were going to kill Abraham, Sasha, and Daryl on the highway, but then Daryl went all rocket launcher on them. Soo if you really want to point fingers it was Negan's people who "declared war" with that attempted attack.

Eye bulging variant would be awesome! On the one hand it's a little twisted and seems unlikely, but on the other hand Funko did give us headless Hershel lol

The Head wrote:With that said, negan's group definitely started it (I feel like I'm in 4th grade again), but rick escalated it quickly. Out of necessity though because it was clear negan and his people were trying to "stake their claim" and rick wanted to make sure negan knew he was not to be trifled (sp?) with. Didn't work out too well though.

Good point. I thought about it more last night and I think what bugged me about the ep more than anything is they seem to have completely rewritten the personalities of Rick and crew. They've always been very no nonsense take-no-crap types that would rather die then give someone else an inch, yet there they were all whimpering on their knees waiting to be clobbered. I don't see Abraham "taking it like a champ", I see him lunging off the ground and ripping Negan's head off and spitting down the neck hole for good measure. I think Negan's followers would have been so stunned they wouldn't have known what to do, and I think the OLD Rick would have known that cutting the head off the snake solves the problem rather quickly. I understand the producers/ writers wanted to shake things up for the sake of keeping the show interesting, but at this point I'd rather see the show from Negan's point of view since he's the new leader.

Yeah that's true although at that point I don't think Negan was involved, it was just one of his groups out messing around on their own and they tangled with the wrong people. Or maybe not, I need to go back and watch all of that because I was really confused over whether Negan was a person or a group or what when I watched it. But I think the attack on the compound where they killed all the people in cold blood was done with the intent of removing Negan from power though, not as a response to that threat. Negan was taking a cut from Hilltop and Rick decided he wanted the cut to go to his group instead of Negan's. So it was an attempt to remove Negan from power and put Rick in his place. Of course Rick thinks he's a kinder, gentler soul and that people would be happy to have him taking their stuff rather than Negan lol

All of Negan's people represent him, that's why he always says he's everywhere. So his crew holding the road hostage was definitely him declaring war. Which he had already done with the Hilltop, hence their "agreement" which were basically just Negan's rules.

Pretty sure Abraham would stay down like he did, and take it like a champ. Because look what happened when Daryl tried to act out. The second death was Daryl's fault. So jumping up and attacking him (with no weapon in hand) definitely would have got more/all of them killed. I don't think Abraham's character would do that.

Negan's a great character, really excited for this season. I wonder if they are going to try and cram all of "All out war" into this season...

BTW, Sloth from goonies on Glenn's body is any easy variant for them to make, just add blood. I think someone even put that sloth fig in a glenn box on social media LOL.

You wanna know what's messed up? My sister works as an ICU nurse for people who have suffered from Traumatic Brain Injuries. She said that when she got to the scene that showed Glenn with his head dented and his eye sticking out, stammering and muttering, she had to leave the room. I asked her why (I didn't watch it, I've given up on TWD after last season), and she said "That's exactly what it looks like. I've had to interact with people who looked and sounded exactly like that."

I'm totally team Negan. Rick and his crew have been the big dogs for along time now and Rick could do whatever he wanted and nobody opposed him. He finally has someone to fear and fears Negan because he is thinking about saving everyone else and not just himself. I've never been a huge Abraham fan so I was fine with his and I was waiting for Glenn to die ever since he faked us out last season. Plus they gave away Abraham's comic death a couple of episodes before to Denise with the arrow through the head and that is the exact way Glenn dies, bulging eye and all. My wife and I are dressing as Negan for Halloween this year and our Lucile "kits" will be here tomorrow (baseball bats and barbed wire garland). I was thinking of doing a "custom" Abraham and Glen pop by boiling the pop and squishing in the head so it hardens dented.

I don't want to say ricks group deserved it, but Tara was right: they attacked a group of people based on what another group said, just like The Governor.
Without any real prior interaction they just went and murdered people in the place they called home.

It was brutal for us, but some of Negan's group could've similarly lost those closest to them as well.

Without any real prior interaction they just went and murdered people in the place they called home.

It was brutal for us, but some of Negan's group could've similarly lost those closest to them as well.

The whole thing is interesting because we're supposed to view the Ricktatorship as the heroes of the story since it's their perspective. But sometimes they're not. I hope it's a theme they keep up in some way.

Re: rick and his crew, I think it's about showing that they can be vulnerablex which makes them seem a bit more human. Someone else alluded to it - rick comes off as some sort of superhero, like no one can stop him. Negan is that someone who can put him in his place. This is exactly how it plays out in the comics as well. I'm interested to see how they progress this season. Very much looking forward to the

tiger. (Side note: my most wanted pop may be a "ride" with Ezekiel and his tiger!).

Your last comment about showing it from negan's point of view is spot on though. I would love it if they did that.

A peace-sign Abraham with bloody skull variant would be cool too

I'd love an 11 pack with all of them knelt. Maybe Abe and Glenn after their first hit

But the next series HAS to include Sasha, Eugene and Aaron, surely. I'd also adore a Spencer
