New Walgreen's Exclusives- Iron Spider/Green Goblin(Update)

That's awesome congrats fam.

I've been monitoring that stock list from walgreens locally and EVERY single store just says "contact store" which I have been.. most only carry 1-5 max of like disney or gotham thus far the last couple weeks of driving there and calling combo.

Got 2 chase today at a Walgreens across town. The worker mentioned that people had been asking about it recently. Also saw most of the Marvel exclusive except Deadpool

I went to the Walgreens 5 minutes from my house because the tracker finally said 6-9... they had 7 deadpool with chicken

2 stores got in 8 overnight, and both ended up with 2 boxes (4 in each box) of Deadpool. It's at least reassuring when they come back and find Deadpools so that I know the customer service person really did check.

I'm even having a hard time finding anything but Star wars and Rubber chicken deadpool. I do still have a few sets for Funatics (no chase) if anyone is interested send me a PM. (bought these originally for board members that ended up not needing them)

When I initially saw it, the tracker said something like 6-9 available but I wasn't able to make it there. I was able to go the next morning when it said 2-5 but there were 2 chase there plus regular Golbin, Iron Spider and the Taskmaster. I'm up in Anchorage, Alaska. I checked another Walgreens last night that had 6-9 tracking but they had all except the chase

Jesus christ. I know that the walgreens around me were stocking up on Deadpools but they had like 3-5 per store....Thats ridiculous lol

Or did he? When I see an impossible quantity like that it always makes me wonder if the stash never made it out of the warehouse. I used to work on a loading dock decades ago when I was in high school and never partook myself, but saw many items diverted from the dock before they ever made it to receiving. They'd get tossed into a box and placed next to the dumpster like trash that had fallen to the side, then sometime during the night said box would disappear from next to the dumpster. Receiving would just mark it as an incomplete shipment, as far as they knew or cared some items never made it onto the truck to begin with. Anyway that many in one auction just seems VERY suspicious. I mean we have dozens if not hundreds of Funatics out hitting stores daily looking for these and the lucky people find one, the VERY lucky people might find two. But 14? Unheard of. Sounds like some insider action there.

The tracker said my local store had over 10 in stock, so I went there and showed that to a guy putting out stock. He said all they had in the back were Deadpools. He took my number and promised to call me if any Goblin's came in. He called me a while ago and said the truck scheduled for today didn't make it there, but would call me tomorrow if they get any Marvel pops besides Deadpool. Pretty cool of him to do that.

I have heard those stories, but never thought that actually happened. I am afraid that you might beright on that one. Just darn glad I don't live in that area. They were next to impossible to find here in Wisconsin. They showed up at a few stores last week Wednesday, or at least the tracker jumped up to 10+, and all stores have shown out of stock ever since. I got lucky and a lead took my name and number the day before and put a set on hold for me including a chase goblin.

I went today after the tracker said 10+ thinking I'd get Deadpool at the very least. Instead I found an alarming amount of Riot Shields. lol

I went to a 3 different locations in South Florida this morning after checking the store stock online (all 3 said 6-9) and nothing of interest at any...no Marvel pops other than a Venom at one :dark1:

The distribution of the exclusives is really weird. Aside from the crazy amount of RS, all I've found was Batman (particularly Harley) and a lone Ron Weasley, haha. None of the stores I got a set from have gotten a second wave, and there's still 7 stores in my zipcode search radius that never got any.

I got lucky today, I went to local Walgreens I don't frequent to often. I sparked a conversation with one of the managers and he managed to find a couple of the Walgreens exclusives from the stock room. Still need both green goblin and the chase to complete this series. This was in a store in LA

That seller is the one that always lists the ridiculous "pre-orders"...Green Goblin Chase, Unmasked Kylo, etc. etc. He lists them for ridiculous prices to begin with and now he has 14 of these bastards? Who knows how he gets them....but if he has them then COOL. :-({|=

2 Stores got more stock this morning. First one had nothing left when I got there (consolation prize was an Arkham Knight Mystery Mini.) Second one, I was already wary of because I was there a week ago and they had baby Groots on shelf. Still same Groots on shelf and when I asked they "said" they got more of the same one in (so more baby groots.) ](*,)

I opened a ticket on these to escalate the out of stock issue. The response I received was "As soon as they came in, they were gone within days. Need to place a j-order to receive but not sure how many you will receive, they may be out if stock everywhere."

A J-order is an order I need my district manager to place, and it utilizes warehouses country wide, not just your own.

By the looks of it, out of stock across the country. So much for 9 month supply.

Yep, I could tell just using the walgreens site. They've been at 0 for 2 weeks... DC must be out I assume.

I'm sure more are on their way from China...then Funko has to send them to Walgreens AND ALSO I don't know if anyone frequents PopCultcha enough to check out their stock on these new Marvel POPs, but Green Goblin got put on pre-order with a new arrival ETA of MAY. Walgreens is dried up, I'm sure.

I feel ya guys! Being an EMPLOYEE I can't get even get them myself. Just hoping I can still get my hands on a chase Goblin, but they probably will be dried up by the time they get to me. Refuse to buy from PC, it should have been easy for me to get at least the basic set!

A few Walgreens around a 20 mile radius showed stock today. Two near my house have shown 2-5 in stock all day, when it showed out of stock previously. Didn't bother going in because I figured someone had already got to them. Well...curiosity got the best of me tonight, so I went to one and found 3 Chase's sitting on the shelf. Went to the other one close by and found 2 Chase's and 1 Taskmaster. Not sure how the stock checker worked today because it never said 6-9 in stock...only 2-5.
