Hands down the MonoConan for me! Notables also include the GITD Kingdom Hearts set because the glow was so good and recent ST pops Max (Costume) and Eleven Boxlunch exclusive for their styling and detail

3RD PLACE:

I was very tempted to put Aladdin on this list, just because MAN we've been waiting for so long. The fact that we didn't just get our favorite street rat, but an entire new wave from his movie, made my entire year! Still, the bronze winner goes to Genie Jafar simply because his mold is to die for. Between his translucent tail, the inclusion of his infamous black lamp, and the possibility of a glow-in-the-dark Chase, this is how you make a villain Pop!

2ND PLACE:

Finally seeing DuckTails Pops was a wonder in and of itself, but this variant of Scrooge continued to push the boundaries of what Pops are capable of being. No legs, eyes closed, and ALL THE DETAIL in that huge pile of coins he's leaping from, this Pop is nothing short of incredible. When they want to be, Funko is the master of combining nostalgia with modernness, and that's perfectly summed up in this Pop.

1ST PLACE:

Hands down, bar none. Similar to how the Titanfall Pops redefined what a Pop figure was last year, Shenron goes a step further with its incredible presentation. The detail in the dragon alone is stupendous, but the inclusion of the Dragon Balls themselves - as well as using DBZ's trademark energy waves as a base for it all - almost renders this figure an entire scene rather than a lone figure. It's huge, it's gorgeous, and it's easily the best-designed Pop of 2017! :cheers:

The Lord of the Rings had been on my wishlist for ages, so my favourite is the new Gandalf. There's so much detail, and I love how he's in the ''you shall not pass'' pose.

Golden Shenron was my surprise of the year...there are just no words to say how fabulous that piece is in person. my personal favorite was blue chrome batman. He's just so stinkin' shiny. I LOVE HIM!!!!

Personally, my favorite was the NYCC Balrog. It may not be worth much, but the mold was fantastic, the glow was great, and it was a pleasant part of my childhood revisited

I think I would have to say the Thank You Freddy! Anything Freddy I like. Well I did just see a picture of proto and complete 8bit Freddy that looks like going to be in the shop. I'm on the fence about that one. Not a big fan of that line. But being Freddy it might get me started :freddy3:

I think for aesthetic reasons and sentimental reasons, I'd have to go with Freddy Flux. All four are fantastic and look awesome together but my favorite of the four is the one that says "FUNKO" on the face. I think it's such a cool looking and different Pop than we're used to, and I believe it was also the first to have a black box!

I'd have to say Shenron since I bought one for my home and another for my office. Other favorites include 10" Groot, Statue of Liberty Freddy, and the Walgreens Moon Knight. This year was too good to be true with other favorites: Uncle Scrooge, Darkwing Duck, Launchpad McQuack, Pluto, Flocked Bob Ross, Hey Arnold, and Rocko.

For me it was easily the Rey on speeder Deluxe. Such an amazing piece. It was the no. 1 thing I wanted Funko to make, so it was a dream come true when it happened.

There were so many great pieces this past year. Talk about taking Pops to the next level. Just the deluxe line is amazing.

But my fav is the boggart as Snape. Just so well done and such a great exclusive Pop. Hands down my fav.

The Star Wars Movie Moments are pretty outstanding, I really love them. The Cantina Showdown set was my favorite Funko product of the year.

2017 was a good year for pops and it looks like 2018 is going to be even better!
