I remember seeing some of the original Disney and Star Wars Pops when I worked at Barnes and Noble years ago, and I have many I wish I had purchased back then. I think the first one I bought was Bumble on clearance for $1.80. I should have bought the rest of the Rudolph set too, as it was all on clearance at that point. The problem was I didn't have all that much money to spend on that stuff because I worked at Barnes and Noble at the time.

As soon as I laid eyes on them, I started talking to the a man working the booth about the possibility of doing the whole Satellite era justice league which is my favorite team. I wish I could remember who it was that I was talking to, but he said they had big plans. The clamshell was certainly unique, but I prefer the box for sure!

I remember seeing the Orion Slave Girl at my local B&N all of the time, but it wasn't until they made Firefly that I started buying Pops. My first was the dirty Kaylee Frye Hot Topic exclusive. That Orion Slave Girl was purchased later that week.

Like so many others an Original Batman was my first Pop that I purchased.
I have always been a huge Batman fan and tried to pick up different Batman items for my eventual man cave. Almost 60 Batman Pops later I still have no man cave but I have a much nicer Pop collection.

The first time I purchased PoPs was back in 2011. I purchased the Funko Batman Pop Heroes 6 Piece Vinyl Figure Set from Gemini Collectable through Amazon for $52.88 shipped. It included the original DC PoPs of Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Penguin, Riddler, and the Joker. It was a gift for a friend who was big into Batman. She still has the PoPs, but damaged, then discarded the boxes.
